As the Paschal Candle is lit this year, let us remember our own Baptismal call, when the candle was given to us and we were invited to live by the light of Christ and to go forth as missionaries bringing this light to the world.
As Easter People, we proclaim with hope and courage that Jesus is Risen. We respond with love and compassion to those in need and take a stand in caring for the earth and humanity. Let us become beacons of hope to those in despair.
