Your weekly news update

Welcome to the latest edition of Chatter From The 19th. Congratulations to all our winners from the past week.

Please note our music on a Saturday evening starts a little earlier, you can now enjoy free live music from 6pm each week.

A reminder with the cold weather setting in again you can now purchase firewood from the Club. To replenish your firewood stocks for winter please contact Garry Cooney on 0417 393 617.

GOLF
From The Golf Committee
Please find following the latest reminders and updates from the Golf Committee -

Reminder to rake Bunkers – these are back in play so if you are in a bunker please rake it, and feel free to rake more than the damage you have done.
- Link to R & A Rule 12.1 – When a Ball in is Bunker
Please ensure you have checked into the Pro Shop prior to play and to check the local rules board for any updates on course conditions for that days play.
A Reminder for all golf cart drivers to stay on the defined paths as best you can.
- Roped Off and Blue marked out areas around the green is marked out for a reason, please do not drive carts in these areas
There is still plenty of divots on fairways and ball marks on the greens, remember if you see one feel free to fix them
Pace of Play – Please ensure that you keep your round moving along and there are a few things you can do to keep the field moving
- Play ready golf, if you are first to the tee, hit off then mark your scorecard while the other groups members are teeing off

MSL Golf Scoring App – Watch this space – More info to come soon
- Our golf scoring app is coming soon.
- We are undertaking testing with selected members.
- Once testing is complete we will then run some training sessions for nteresited members

Can You Help?
Our volunteers club is looking for additional volunteers to help around the course with gardening and picking up small branches and sticks. If you can spare a few hours regularly to help keep our course in top condition please contact Greg Freer.

SOCIAL NEWS
Parmi and Pot Night
Our $18 Parmi and Pot night is back each Thursday in our Eagles & Birdies Bistro. Choose from a range of toppings and receive a pot with your Parmigiana.

Euchre
Join us for Euchre! Euchre will be played each Tuesday evening from 7.30pm. All are welcome to join, the cost is $3.

COVID Safe Rules
A friendly reminder, please adhere to the COVID Rules when visiting Mooroopna Golf Club.
1 - Proof of Full Vaccination (unless exempt)
2 - Check In upon entry - Pro Shop and Club House
4 - If you are unwell or have mild symptoms, please do not come to the Golf Club - stay home and get tested

For your convenience the Mooroopna Golf Club courtesy bus opeates in the Shepparton and Mooroopna areas each Friday and Saturday evening from 5pm. To book please call the Club on 5825 4135.
