• TODAY!  Monday, April 18. Meet 40+ employers at Greene County Public Schools Job Fair & Career Expo between 3:15-5:30pm at William Monroe High School. It's open to all in the community!
• PVCC has the U.S. Army Reserve recruiting at PVCC on Tuesday, April 19 between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Stop by to learn about the many benefits they offer to students while in *and* after going to school.
• PVCC's virtual Program Spotlight on Tuesday, April 19 at 6:30pm is on the Criminal Justice / Police Science programs. Registration required. These programs would be FREE for most students to pursue considering G3 funding and PVCC4U support. 
• Virginia Career Works (VCW) hosts a weekly virtual job search prep workshop on Tuesdays, at 2pm. This week's topic on April 19 is Interviewing on Zoom.   Registration required. Their Thursday, April 21, 1pm, Employer of the Week, is  UVA Temps.  There isn't a better way to get your foot in the door at UVA!  They have opportunities in both the Academic Division and Medical Center.  Registration required.  
• Attention Tech Job Seekers: Shift/Enter is hosting an ALT Learning Workshop on Interview Red Flags & How to Find Them. Tuesday, April 19, 6:30pm. Registration required.
• Attention aspiring (or current!) Women in Technology.  Charlottesville Women in Technology is hosting a Membership Launch Party on Wednesday, April 20, 5:30 p.m. at WillowTree.  Registration requested.  Meet like-minded women to network with and become involved to add to your resume.  If you can't attend the Launch Party but want to become a member (it's FREE!), click here.
• The U.S. Dept. of Transportation has a paid Summer Internship Program for Diverse Groups. They are hosting an information session on Thursday, April 21 at 4:30pm. Registration required. 
• Attention artists who want to learn more about how to price their artwork. StARTup Studio's next virtual session on Friday, April 22 at 4pm is "Price it Like a Pro!" to help you confidently sell your artwork online.  Advance registration required. Code: StartStudio2021
• Attention aspiring (or current) Conservationists.  The 2022 Virginia Land Conservation and Greenways Conference being held in Richmond, April 27-29 is FREE for students!
• The City of Charlottesville CAYIP Summer program places a number of Community Attention Youth Interns. Interns must be 14-21 years old living in Charlottesville City and are expected to work up to 20 hours/week over the program's six week session, earning $10/hr. Apply by 4/29.
• Looking for a summer job / internship? PVCC had 30 employers recruiting at PVCC last Thursday, April 14.  The list of employers for both the Annual Job Fair that had 85+ employers and the Summer Jobs/Internships Fair is still on our events page.

• PVCC seeks part-time Writing *and* Math  *and* Accounting Tutors paying $15/hour.  They also seek summer KidsCollege Head Counselors ($18.58/hour), part-time Workforce Services Credentialing Coach and FastForward Career Coach (both $22.67/hour).
• Qualified Staffing has been great to post a number of jobs with PVCC again. Their full-time Medical Screener position pays $15/hour - no experience necessary. They also posted for full-time Pharmaceutical Clean Room Operators ($20/hour), a FT Logistics Coordinator ($20/hour), FT Payroll Representative ($19-20/hour), FT Public Space Cleaner ($16/hour), PT Production Associate ($17/hour) and a FT Account Sales Executive ($25-35,000 base + commission). • The Front Porch seeks a Piano Teacher paying $43-65/hour. Must have experience working with kids.
• Light House Studio is hiring Lead & Assistant Teaching Artists to work throughout the summer paying $12-25/hour PLUS an Animation Instructor paying $16-25/hour.

• The Charlottesville Waldorf School has a number of openings including a part-time Early Childhood Nap & Aftercare Teacher paying $15/hour, Substitute Teachers, a part-time Strings Teacher and a Summer Camp Assistant Teacher
• WorldStrides' Envision Program is seeking summer teachers paying $15+/hour for their K-12 career exploration programs for a number of careers in the fields of law, diplomacy, medicine, business, engineering, civil service, and more!  Travel, housing and meals are provided!  Apply by 5/31.
• Compass Behavioral Solutions is hiring for a number of positions including an Administrative Support Specialist paying $30-40,000 and ABA Behavior Technicians (on-the-job training provided) paying $18-22/hour. They also have positions for those with bachelor's degrees. 
• Commonwealth Senior Living seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing - LPN

• The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation (in Williamsburg) has a number of openings including a Museum Education Internship, a Museum Education Digital Media Internship both paying $12.50/hour (apply by 4/24) and Sales Associates paying $15/hour.  
• The Virginia Dept. of Alcoholic Beverage Control seeks full-time Special Agents at statewide locations paying $68-80,000 (depending on location).

• PVCC seeks a part-time Outreach & Marketing Specialist paying $22.67/hour. Apply even if you don't have a bachelor's degree but you have the skills. We also seek a part-time Pearson Vue Proctor paying $15.74/hour. 
• Drucker + Falk Property Management Co. seeks a full-time Leasing Professional paying $18/hour. This is a new property at 10th & Dairy.
• UVA is hiring an HR Associate for its Talent Support Team. Pay is $17-20/hour (DOE).
• Town Realty in Charlottesville is looking for an Operations Coordinator, paying $40-$60K/yr.
• WTJU Radio is looking for a Business Coordinator to handle its accounting, finance, administrative, procurement, and grants administration tasks
• Live Arts is seeking a part-time Director of New Works starting as early as May 2022. There is a $15,000 stipend to support cultivating new theater pieces
• Wild Virginia is seeking a new Executive Director paying $58,000 - $63,000 per year. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• GovSmart has a number of openings for this area where if you live in a HUB-Zone part of Charlottesville (or elsewhere), that would improve your chances of being hired: Purchasing Assistant ($50,000) and Data Entry Tracking Assistant ($40,000)
• Monticello is hiring for a variety of roles, ranging from reservations, ticket / retail sales to IT Helpdesk support to event planning. They pay at least $15/hour. Check out the opportunities on their website. 
• The Virginia Dept. of Veteran Services (in Richmond) has a number of paid internships in Communications, Finance, Education/Business/HR, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, and Benefits. $15/hour.  Apply by 4/29/22
• Rivermont, a New Story School in Warsaw VA seeks both a full-time Office Manager and Administrative Assistant

• Blue Ridge Event Production is hiring Event Techs, paying $16-18.50/hour.  Great paid on-the-job training to learn AV / Lighting technology. 
• GovSmart has a number of openings for this area where if you live in a HUB-Zone part of Charlottesville (or elsewhere), that would improve your chances of being hired. They have a Microsoft Business NAV Developer ($80-120,000), Federal IT Sales Professional ($40K+commission), IT Sales Solution Architect ($75-130,000; bachelor's OR technical degree required), and a part-time Custodian position ($20/hour).

• Castle Hill Gaming seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer. Note that experience can count in lieu of a bachelor's degree!
• Vestige Design is a boutique architecture firm based in Charlottesville, VA and NYC focusing mainly on residential projects. They are hiring two, part-time Revit designers ($18-22/hour, approx. 20 hrs./week), possibly leading to full time employment or transition to full-time for the summer. • PEG, LLC is seeking candidates for this Junior Software position in Fairfax that pays $50,000
• The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation (in Williamsburg)  seeks a full-time IT Specialist paying $50-55,000 (apply by 4/28) and a Digital Media Services Intern paying $18-20/hour (apply by 4/19 but this was just posted on CCN so it might be extended).

• Goodwin William Staffing was great to post more jobs on CCN, including this FT Inventory / Delivery Driver. They also seek FT/PT Inventory Associates to work in Crozet paying $15/hour, FT Excavator or Heavy Equipment Operator ($20-25/hour), FT Electrician Helper ($15/hour), FT/PT/Temp Bartenders/Servers ($18-20/hour), FT Construction Laborers ($15-16/hour), Asst. Construction Project Manager or Superintendent ($70-80,000), and Construction Project Manager ($100-115,000)
• Keswick Hall has a number of opportunities, both full-time and part-time. Line or Pastry Cooks or Culinary Interns earn $18-22/hour (housing included for interns!), Host/Hostess, Food Runner, Club Housekeeper, Bar or Server Assistant, Cocktail or Banquet Server, Beverage Cart OR Barista (all have $500 sign-on bonus!), and Room Attendant.

• Attention lifeguards (or those who want to be who are 15+ years of age) - Charlottesville City needs to hire a large number and will be offering a $250 sign-on bonus, free training and $15/hour!
• Mountaintop Montessori is seeking to hire a Lifeguard ($20/hour) for every Tuesday of their summer season, June 14-August 12, for their field trips to various springs, lakes, creeks, and rivers in the local community.
• Massanetta Springs (near Harrisonburg) is hiring lifeguards and summer camp counselors. Housing and meals provided.
• Chimm Street (inside Dairy Market) is looking for a Cashier/Expediter and someone to help run their food stall at the IX Thursday evening market. If you're interested stop by their location at Dairy Market. 
• Management Services Corporation (MSC), one of The Caton Companies, is seeking summer pool attendants  ($14.50/hour) for their Turtle Creek Condominiums property in Charlottesville. MSC UVA Apartments is also hiring seasonal turnover assistants ($20/hour).
• Forty2 has a number of openings including a Superstar Leasing Professional, Apartment Service Technician, Maintenance Assistant/Groundskeeper and Lead Service Technician
• Kings Dominion has summer jobs & internships that pay $15/hour, they are also hiring Aquatics Associates paying $16/hour. Apply now!
• James River State Park (in Gladstone) has a number of different Ranger openings paying $11-11.75/hour.
• Shenandoah National Park is hiring two people for the sanitation branch for the north end of the Park (Front Royal to Skyland). Weekends and holidays are required with a 5/4/9 schedule, 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Hourly rate is $20.13.
