April has been busy for Floating EKA. Slowly we are trying to get back on track and adjust to the new reality. 

👥Before the outbreak of the war we had started developing a project named Sąsiedzi/Сусіди/Суседзі/Соседи. Initially, the project was about documenting stories of people with migrant experiences. In April, we adjusted the concept to the changing environment and applied for the Active Citizens Fund grant with it. Looking forward to good news!

💦 We continue working on the Common Water project. At the beginning of February, we found out that we made it to the second round of the Eastern Partnership Program grant competition. Our letter with the final application was sent to the German Federal Foreign Office on April 11. Fingers crossed!

🪙 We have finalised our financial statement which we ought to submit to the Polish National Court Register (KRS). Most likely by the time you read this, we will have already sent it to KRS.

Dogo Residenz für Neue Kunst offers space to practice the vision of collective being. Accordingly, we are looking for collectives consisting of 2-4 cultural practitioners to live and work in the residency for 4 months.

💛 Sottofondo studio
SottoFondo is a non-profit exhibition space that was created in order to foster moments of discussion among people in the art world. The call is open to artists and collectives (below 35 years old) from all countries. Every type of medium is welcome, including painting, sculpture, performance, video, installation, and any other art form.
