Dear Educators,
I’m writing to let you know about a new opportunity for NYC public high school students at Street Lab—a nonprofit dedicated to creating and sharing free programs for public space in NYC. We have just launched our 2022 Street Lab Teens program, which is a paid summer opportunity for 10th, 11th, and 12th graders to support and shape how our organization engages with communities across New York City.
Working closely with our staff, teens will help develop and lead our Street Marker activation, which brings New Yorkers together to create chalk murals on NYC Open Streets in all five boroughs. Teens will get valuable experience working with Street Lab staff, community partners, and the public while collaborating with a small team of dedicated peers. We would be grateful if you could share this with members of your communities who may be interested. Applications accepted until May 2nd with rolling admission
