The brighter weather and ever-changing winds meant some anglers found the conditions tougher over the week.
There have been some huge buzzer hatches and the fish have switched to fish imitative feeding patterns. Water clarity has been excellent, and the fish have been feeding at all depths and were mainly being caught at 1- 3ft. As the week progressed the warmer weather saw the boats producing the best bags in the open water . Adrian Wilkins went afloat last Sunday in the West arm and managed a good double figure bag of fish mainly on drys, shipmans, cdcs and buzzers.
Please ensure you have a good quality leader as many have said their lines have been broken off by big fish.
The cloudier weather this week will hopefully produce some better bank fishing.
