Philadelphia, PA – In case you missed it, U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Bartos joined Jeffrey Lord's podcast to discuss the GOP primary and the Biden administration's crises.
On the Biden administration's economic and energy crises:
"Imagine a world where President Biden came into office and didn't declare war on American energy independence. Here in Pennsylvania, we're sitting on the resources to solve this energy crisis."
"The Biden administration and Congressional Democrats caused the runaway inflation we're seeing right now. President Biden's response to higher prices at the pump is to go to Venezuela or Iran or other terrible countries for help. The answer is Pennsylvania gas and American energy. That solves our energy crisis."
On the out-of-state candidates in the GOP primary:
"With such a big chunk of voters still undecided in this race, I hope people take a hard look at how candidates' have spent their time. Look at whether other candidates have lived in the state for a month, 6 months, a year - where they've spent their business careers. I spent the pandemic raising money and getting it out the door for small businesses on Main Streets across all 67 counties, while other candidates were investing in China or shipping jobs over to China. That's an important contrast. The important question in this race is: 'who has a track record of delivering for Pennsylvanians?' I'm willing to put my record up against anyone's."
"The other candidates continue to fight each other, I'm going to continue to fight for the people of Pennsylvania."
On combatting China and Russia:
"Our energy resources, our agricultural resources, our R&D, our remarkable universities, all the resources we have here - that's how we combat China. Through economic growth, economic innovation, bringing the world together around shared prosperity and growth to combat communism, despotism, and socialism that we see spreading."
"Russia is really a gas station with an army. So we need to squeeze the one resource that they have, and we have to push them back. American energy liberates our allies in Europe, and gives peace and prosperity to many states that are facing a cutoff from Russian gas and oil."
"I give all the credit in the world to President Trump. He woke the world up to the threat that is China, and that is Russian aggression. He held these enemies of freedom and liberty to account. There is no way that Vladimir Putin's war of aggression - illegal war- against Ukraine would be happening if President Trump were in office."
