Check-In at 4:30 in Briggs

The time and place of our check-in has been moved. Students should report to Briggs Assembly Center at 4:30 to check-in and have luggage and carryons approved. If possible, please drop your student off at school instead of having them park all week near campus. The busses will be leaving at 6:00. Please be on time!

Disney App & Genie+

Have your child download the My Disney Experience app on their phone (the one with a 50 on the castle). Disney park tickets will be linked to their phone. Chaperones will link their students to their Disney account so that Genie+ can be purchased for the kids to enjoy in the Disney parks.

Dri-Fit NOT NEEDED

The boys will not be required to wear their drivers-fit. Because there will be no awards ceremony, we won't have a need for everyone to dress in dry-fits. Of course, they are welcome to wear them on any day they would like.

Bags for the parks

The kids are discouraged from bringing a bag into the parks, but they are allowed if necessary. In Universal, all bags must be put into a locker for most of the rides, but a small waist (fanny) pack is allowed on most rides. In Disney, small bags are allowed on the rides. All bags must go through an x-ray machine at the park security checks.

Each morning, the kids will be given a bottle of water to take into the park. They can refill this as needed, and ice water is available for no charge from all quick serve restaurants. This way they won't need to carry their own reusable water bottles with them unless they'd like to.

Attached is the Chaperone List with contact information. Each chaperone will be assigned to 2 or 3 rooms of kids. Please see the list to see which chaperone is assigned to your child.

Disney - Universal Trip Information

DEPARTURE:
Tuesday, April 19, 2022
Report time: 4:30 pm – Briggs Assembly Center
Departure time: 6:00 pm

Students are allowed one medium suitcase that will be put in bus luggage compartment and one backpack to carry on the bus. Please have a name tag on all bags.
All luggage will be inspected before departure.  Once luggage is inspected, students are not allowed to leave the building and must stay in the designated areas until boarding time.

Students are to bring a pillow and blanket and wear comfortable sleeping clothes for the bus ride.  Pack toiletries and a change of clothes for the next morning in a backpack carried on the bus.  We will be stopping on Wednesday morning for everyone to freshen up and change clothes, and then we will be traveling directly to Universal Studios without checking into the hotel.  Students will not have access to their luggage until we check into the Disney hotel on Wednesday night.

Boys are to pack a swimsuit, and enough clothes/necessities for 4-5 days. No inappropriate clothing will be allowed.

Make sure your child brings his/her cell phone charger, and they have an adequate battery in their cell phone.  Portable chargers are helpful and can be ordered from Amazon. This is very important because chaperones keep in touch with the students by cell phone.

There will be a room check each evening by the directors and chaperones, and tape will be adhered to each door only to be removed the next morning by directors or chaperones.

If a disciplinary issue arises, the student will be flown home accompanied by a chaperone at their parents’ expense, and Brother Ray or Mr. Watkins will pick them up at the airport. You will also incur the cost of flying the chaperone back to Orlando.

Universal Parade Performance

The Marching Wolves will be performing in Universal Studios at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 23rd. Parents wishing to watch the parade must have a park ticket to enter Universal Studios.
