The UK has one of the highest rates of COVID vaccinations in the world. But in many countries the picture is very different - we’re living in a vaccine apartheid. This situation is costing lives overseas, and increasing the risk for patients here - allowing new variants to emerge which put enormous pressure on our already overburdened NHS.

Just Treatment organises patients to fight for universal access to the best healthcare that we all deserve. If you were directly impacted by vaccine injustice please get in touch and share your story if you have family in countries where there is a lack of vaccine access, or if you are a clinically vulnerable patient living in the UK.

Many of the legal decisions made in England and Wales aren’t made by judges. They’re made by ordinary people who work in all sorts of fields and have no previous connection to the law profession. What they do have is a sense of fairness. They also have the ability to listen, make rational judgements and be proud representatives of their communities. These people are magistrates.

In terms of the specific requirements, you’ll need to be 18 to 74 years old and of good character with sound judgement.
