Your continued involvement in ASME matters to us, and does make a difference to music education in NSW. Membership in ASME strengthens the collective voice of music educators all over Australia. Furthermore, your continued involvement:

Over the last 12 months your membership has helped Music educators have a strong voice as we continue to negotiate and advocate for music in the face of both a state and national curriculum review. These are vulnerable times for Music Education in NSW, and ASME's representation on behalf of its members is strengthened by a broad membership base.
Your membership has also ensured that music educators were heard as we represented you to the various government authorities, lobbying for sensible and safe music making guidelines in the face of COVID-19 and the return to school.
The coming months are exciting for ASME NSW. We will be presenting an online series of professional development (watch this space) and we are hosting the National Conference in the July School Holidays. ASME membership offers a considerable discount to the national conference. You can register here. The conference has a fabulous line up of speakers, with John Foreman, Professor Brydie-Leigh Bartleet, Jessie Lloyd and James Rotherham as keynote speakers as well as over 100 workshop and paper presentations.
