21 April  2022

Dear all,

No matter what the make-up of a family is, a family is a team. Each person plays a unique role in the structure and function of their family. Each individual’s strengths and personality traits can contribute to the family’s well-being.

This year, we have exciting plans to push this message forward in the run-up to the International Day of Family in May, through our upcoming campaign #FamilyTeamwork. We have joined forces with UNFPA's MenEngage programme to build engaging (and fun!) tools to get the conversation going on how vital it is for families and all societal stakeholders to team up against stereotypical roles and unequal sharing of caring and household tasks.

Watch this space for more information and join us from the 10th of May onwards to reflect on equal sharing of care within the family.

Read on for other news and updates from our network and the EU.

Stay safe,
