Creative Space Mentoring Network Wrap-Up Webinar

The CSMN 2021-2022 program is coming to a close on June 29th! To prepare for the conclusion of this year's program, we hosted a wrap-up webinar on April 27th to reconnect with the 2021-22 cohort. Mentors and mentees had interactive and engaging opportunities to share and learn about their peers’ creative space projects, as well as their overall experiences in the program.

ABO's Accessibility Toolkit

May 19th is Global Accessibility Awareness Day. This day honours the ongoing conversation about digital access and inclusion. ArtsBuild's Accessibility Toolkit for Creative Spaces in Ontario provides resources on accessibility legislation in Ontario, including the AODA and Design of Public Spaces Standards, Ontario Building Code and Human Rights Code. While it features resources for best practices in the built environment, there is also information on how arts organizations can do even more to offer inclusive space.

Ontario Presents' Annual Spring Retreat 2022

Registration is open to both members and non-members for Ontario Presents' Annual Spring Retreat 2022! The event will be held from June 15th -17th, at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. All performing arts professionals are welcome to join.

ON-Ramp: New Horizons in Cultural Tourism

ON-Ramp: New Horizons in Cultural Tourism is a two-day event investigating the state of reopening for the arts, culture and tourism sectors.

Taking place in person in Toronto as well as online, the symposium will focus on arts and culture in the context of regenerative tourism, diversity and inclusion. This event will also offer industry expert advice on reopening.

The Gathering Divergence Spring 2022 Registration

This year, the Spring 2022 Gathering Divergence Multi-Arts Festival & Conference | Moulding The Future: Rethinking Strategies for the Arts Sector Now will address ways of rethinking the sector as we emerge from the pandemic, focusing on the responsibility of the sector to strategize and implement supportive systems that benefit IBPOC artists/organizations and the arts sector at large. Mass Culture's Positioning a Future Forward

It is time to bring the ASO community together to investigate the challenges the sector faces and advance our ideas for addressing such challenges. Mass Culture has created a survey focusing on the future for ASOs.They created an open call for challenges and ideas that are relevant to ASOs at this time.
