With Mental Health Awareness Week on the horizon, we wanted to give you some updates on our exciting upcoming projects...

Translating the Feeling Good app into Ukrainian

The Polish translation of the Feeling Good app was developed through Edinburgh-based Polish counselling charity Feniks, with funding from the University of Edinburgh. We are currently working on translating the app into Ukrainian with a team of paid translators, who themselves have been displaced by the conflict, alongside a team of incredible volunteers. Both the Polish and Ukrainian translations of the app will be available completely free of charge. You will not need a code or any additional details to get access to the audio tracks. As soon as you change the language to Ukrainian or Polish, all of the app contents will become free.

If you want to keep up-to-date with our launch of the full Ukrainian translation, or would like to know how you can support the project, for example through printing and distributing posters, or sharing information about the app with those who need it, please sign up to our list to receive mailshots with more information here.

University/College Recruitment

The pandemic has amplified discussions surrounding students’ mental health, and the wellbeing difficulties faced in University environments, but we understand that these difficulties existed before the pandemic, and will, unfortunately, likely exist beyond the pandemic. Therefore, with the new academic year incoming, we’re looking to collaborate with more universities and colleges to provide our Feeling Good App to their students. Please get in touch to find out more and organise a demonstration of the app at karen@fpmh.org.uk

We are also excited to be in the development stages of ‘Feeling Good: Wellbeing Ambassador’ roles for our partner universities. If your university or college would be interested in getting involved, or you would like to find out more, please get in touch with us via email at Karen@fpmh.org.uk.
