Welcome to our April newsletter.

We have some fantastic news...
We have reached our target.

We've reach our £5,000 match-fund target. A massive thank you goes out to everyone who has supported the campaign so far.

Whilst we have met our match fund goal, there is still time if you would like to donate. These additional donations will no longer be matched but they will still be gratefully received and will help to support our rivers and their species.

You can donate here: Homing in on Rivers (thebiggive.org.uk)

Down The Drain

Cornwall Climate Care's film Down The Drain is now live and you can watch it via their YouTube channel (Click on the image above to watch

The film looks at everything to do with fresh water and climate change, and blends spectacular Cornish scenery footage with stories ranging from beaver reintroduction to sewage spills, flood prevention, peatland restoration, farmers helping to protect our precious topsoil, climate impacts on salmon and the surprising carbon footprint of the water we use every day.

Free plastic waste audits

As part of the Preventing Plastic Pollution project, we are working hard to help minimise plastic entering the River Tamar. We believe that by adopting plastic-free practices, businesses can play a key role in helping us achieve this.

We are offering FREE plastic waste audits to businesses in the Tamar catchment (possibly wider so do still enquire) to help make any plastic-free transition as easy as possible.

Our free plastic waste audits, valued at around £500, will give you a clear view of how much waste your organisation is producing. We offer advice and solutions to help you reduce waste and make your practices more sustainable.
