Area WELS News
- WELS Night at the Timber Rattlers: WELS United is hosting an evening of fun and fellowship at a Timber Rattlers game on July 26, 2022, at 6:40 pm. Ticket prices are $13 for a box seat and $10 for bleacher seats. Tickets may be purchased online at https://bit.ly/WELS-TimberRattlers with the password WELS.
- Depression / Anxiety Support Group: Our group exists to break down barriers and stereotypes that prevent people from discussing mental health challenges in a church setting. We feel comfortable asking for prayers for our physical wellbeing but not our mental wellbeing. If you have a brain, you have mental health. At present, we meet on Saturdays from 10:00 am until noon at St. Peter. We at 922 Ministries would like it known that we would be willing to help other churches or WELS members start their own mental health ministry. You may contact me, Andi Paap, at youmeanimnotalone@yahoo.com or Pastor Michael Ewart, lifegroup director, at pastormichael@922ministries.com.
