Creative Glass Fusing
Would you enjoy a day of creative glass fusing at Westhope? Why not join tutor, Jill Bagnall, to create a beautiful, large piece of 3D artwork to your own design using coloured art glass and inclusions. Learn how to cut and handle glass safely and the general principles of glass fusing. We have a number of fusing workshops to choose from and these are suitable for both beginners and those with some experience of working with glass. Create a gorgeous spring wreath using mixed foliage and flowers. Learn how to prepare your materials so that they stay fresh for as long as possible, and how to assemble these to create a beautiful, wreath.

Quirky Birds
Thursday 21st April 1.30pm - 4.30pm
This fun half day workshop will show you how to turn those small pieces of glass into quirky birds using copper foil, solder and copper wire to add details such as legs and tail feathers.

A course for those who want to get off auto mode and explore their camera's controls. We look at Lenses, Histograms, Focus Modes, the Exposure Triangle - ( Shutter speed, Aperture and ISO) Depth of Field and much more.

Silver jewellery in a day
Tuesday 26th April 10am - 4pm
Spend a day learning simple techniques to produce your own metal jewellery. Practise tool use and model-making in copper first. Create one or two beautiful pieces of simple jewellery to take home.
