The Royal London Yacht Club is pleased to be organising what we hope will be a covid free back to normal Cowes Classics Week 2022 from the 25 June to 1 July.
A reminder that the event is a week earlier this year and that Early Bird entry discount ends on Friday 6th May.
There are expectations of interesting new entries in the classic yacht and old gaffer classes and of course our loyal regulars in all classes, including the Solent and Chichester Harbour classic dayboats.
Cowes Classics Week follows immediately after the Round the Island Race, providing a week of varied, challenging and fun racing in Cowes.
Furthermore, on Sunday 26th June over 60 high quality classic cars and interesting classic boats will assemble on the Parade and the Trinity Landing for the 2nd edition of Cowes Classics Day.
Early bird rates are available now and the Notice of Race can be found here. For eligibility enquiries, please contact the organisers, the Royal London Yacht Club at secretary@ccw-team.org. To enter, click here.

Red Funnel Discount
We are delighted to announce that Red Funnel are offering up to 50% discounts on their car ferry route from Southampton to East Cowes. A promotional code will be emailed to you upon request to the RLYC Office following entry.

More reasons to race
When entering the regatta online, remember to tick boxes on entry if applicable for:
New Helm Trophy for all helms new to Cowes Classics Week
Non spinnaker division for Classic Yachts 30’ and over
Additionally, for 2022 we will be awarding the David Gower Bowl for the lowest average age crew. There is no need to declare anything at this stage, but you will be asked for details when you submit your registration form in Cowes, so make sure you collect the ages of your crew in plenty of time.
