Civitas Team Comes in Third at League of Women Voters Trivia Night
Civitas team at League of Women Voters Trivia on Saturday, April 9. -- Photo courtesy of Jean Dugan of League.

An eclectic trivia team from Civitas came in third out of twenty-two teams at last Saturday evening's game sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the League of Women Voters. The team skillfully handled questions about movies, music, sports, current events and a host of other categories. Thanks to the students from Metro, Rosati-Kain and Webster Groves who participated and contributed so much. Congrats also to the League for planning and implementing such a fine event.
More Middle School Model UN April 28 & 29!

Last week was a busy week for a ton of STL middle schoolers. On Wednesday & Thursday we held 2 virtual sessions with 3 schools in the Fort Zumwalt district. On Friday, we had our second in-person General Assembly with students from Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle and St. Raphael the Archangel. It was an intense morning of covering issues like human rights, food insecurity, unemployment, and human trafficking. To see photos from April 8, please click here.
Our next two sessions are on April 28 and 29. More details about them will be in next week's newsletter. If you have a Middle School Model UN question, feel free to contact Bobbi Kennedy at bobbidkennedy@gmail.com.
