Israel Gas Pipeline Could Supply Europe, Chevron CEO Announces

Daniel Onyango.  03/14/2022

Talks of the EastMed pipeline, a sub-sea pipeline in the Mediterranean that could carry gas from Israel to European customers, has been revived amid gas shortage and skyrocketing prices in Europe following Russia’s attack on Ukraine. The EastMed pipeline was first announced in 2016, aimed at transferring natural gas from Israeli waters to Europe through Cyprus and Greece. Since then, the three countries have signed multiple agreements…Following this trend, the viability of the pipeline could be revisited due to fears of a looming energy crisis. The EastMed pipeline is however, not the only new initiative on energy being undertaken in Israel as the EU in January invested $732 million for connection of the electricity networks of Cyprus and Greece.

Biden rescinds controversial Title 42 order limiting asylum

https://thehill.com/news/administration/3256421-biden-rescinds-controversial-title-42/

BY REBECCA BEITSCH AND RAFAEL BERNAL - 04/01/22
The Biden administration on Friday rescinded Title 42, the Trump-era policy that allows for the rapid expulsion of migrants at the border and blocks them from seeking asylum…While crafted by the Trump administration just days into the pandemic, Title 42 has been used roughly 1.7 million times by the Biden administration, a figure that includes repeat crossers…The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has signaled its preparing for an influx of migrants at the border, something they said could result from typical spring migration patterns or the lifting of Title 42. Figures could jump as high as 18,000 crossings a day, up from around 7,000 currently, with the administration scaling up housing, transportation, medical care and processing capacity to accommodate the increase. “The Biden administration’s decision to end Title 42 without an adequate back-up plan is yet another example of their contempt for public health, safety, and national sovereignty. This is an unprecedented invitation to chaos at the border,” said Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform.

KLAUS SCHWAB CALLS TO FORM ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT; ‘DANIEL’S FOURTH KINGDOM’

https://www.israel365news.com/268145/klaus-schwab-calls-to-form-one-world-government-daniels-fourth-kingdom/

ADAM ELIYAHU BERKOWITZ. APR 4, 2022
During a keynote speech on Wednesday, the opening day of the World Government Summit (WGS2022) in Dubai, the WEF’s executive chairman Klaus Schwab called for world leaders to unite to address global issues such as climate change, trade, and economic disruption. He emphasized that this one-world government must form as soon as possible. “The impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution accelerates global change in a much more comprehensive and faster way than previous industrial revolutions,” Schwab said to the assembled world leaders: “Despite all the challenges, we have to uphold the responsibility we have towards the next generation through collaborations on a national and a global level. Our futures are intrinsically connected and that requires collaborative responses. The world has to overcome the damage done to our economies and societies by COVID-19. It also has to confront the repercussions of a dangerous clash between major global powers,” Schwab went on to say during the session.
Rabbi Yosef Berger, the rabbi of King David’s Tomb on Mount Zion, noted that it was not by chance that Schwab adopted the concept of the Fourth Industrial Revolution for the time for unifying the world governments and corporations. The rabbi cited the Book of Daniel: He said this: ‘The fourth beast [means]—there will be a fourth kingdom upon the earth which will be different from all the kingdoms; it will devour the whole earth, tread it down, and crush it.

“Like so many before him, this person wants to rule for his own glory and from his own glory. He understands that Daniel was a great prophet, and this person, who I wish not to name, wants to pervert the words of Daniel for his purpose. I have seen great leaders come to Jerusalem over the years. The leaders who seek God’s glory, who know that their mandate as a ruler comes from King David and the God of Israel, are successful and bring light into the world. Others reject Jerusalem, actually reject it, and they inevitably bring darkness into the world. If this person wanted to help people, it is simple, and it is written in the Bible. He is rich while there are poor people in the world that are starving. He does not care about morality. He worships himself. If he really wants to bring light into the world, I invite him to come to Jerusalem. I will introduce him to King David. I will introduce him to Jerusalem. Now, as Passover is about to begin, is the time.”

COVID is a favorite subject of Schwab. He wrote a book titled  Covid-19: the Great Reset describing the pandemic as a rare opportunity. “At the time of writing (June 2020), the pandemic continues to worsen globally,” Schwab wrote in his book. “Many of us are pondering when things will return to normal. The short response is: never. Nothing will ever return to the ‘broken’ sense of normalcy that prevailed before the crisis because the coronavirus pandemic marks a fundamental inflection point in our global trajectory.”

In 2020, the WEF was headlined “The Great Reset.” At the heart of the agenda is Klaus’s concept of  ‘stakeholder capitalism,’ an idea that Schwab has been advocating for decades, which would result in allocating corporations more power over society. Elected governments would be just one stakeholder in a multi-stakeholder model of global governance. Corporations would be official stakeholders in global decision-making, while governments are relegated to being one of many stakeholders. And the stakeholders in the corporations would take a back seat as the corporate executives are given full autonomy.

Some may find it disturbing to note that in his book, Schwab coined the term “Build back better,” which was adopted by President Biden ahead of his inauguration as the name of his legislative framework.

..In 1971 Schwab founded what would become the World Economic Forum WEF), where he currently serves as executive chairman, for which he receives a salary of about $1 million. He is frequently criticized in the media for this, while at the same time, he has declared that excessively high management salaries were “no longer socially acceptable.” Also, the WEF does not pay any federal taxes. The WEF is also criticized for its lack of transparency in its financial reporting.

…Schwab has stated that a globalized world is best managed by a self-selected coalition of multinational corporations, governments (including the UN system), and select civil society organizations (CSOs). He argues that governments are no longer “the overwhelmingly dominant actors on the world stage” and “the time has come for a new stakeholder paradigm of international governance.”

He also advocated for genetic engineering. In his 2018 book, Shaping the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Schwab writes: We will become better able to manipulate our genes and those of our children. These developments raise profound questions: where do we draw the line between human and machine? What does it mean to be human?

Schwab’s personal life is enigmatic, and few details are known…His religion is not available on the internet. Nonetheless, Pope Francis has been involved in several WEF events.

Schwab gave a talk entitled, Our World Today… Why Government Must Act Now?.  “Thank you, to his excellency for enabling this initiative to define a longer-term narrative to make the world more resilient more inclusive and more sustainable,” Schwab stated during his address…
Some of the featured speakers include:
…Another panel which makes clear the Technocratic dream was entitled, The Invisible Government: Eliminating Bureaucracy Through Technology. The description of the panel states: “Technology is creating new possibilities as it simplifies processes, enables instant feedback, and ultimately improves customer experience. In the public sector, digitalization and artificial intelligence are creating a new model of governance – “invisible” governments that are more agile, responsive, human-centric, and data-driven. In this session, global policymakers and experts will share their bold vision and experience in utilizing technology to eliminate bureaucracy and innovate government services for the future.”

What goes unsaid in the panel description is that making the government “invisible” will actually lead to a world of no accountability for government and politicians. In reality, the Technocrats imagine a world where the tyrannical technological systems are invisible and the average person has zero recourse for preventing exclusion or punishment based on their social credit score. This is the world these technocrats — many of whom are unelected — envision. The only way this vision will not come to pass is if the people of the world throw their televisions away, ignore the celebrity drama, and start exiting from these slavery systems.

WORLD GOVERNMENT SUMMIT: PIPPA MALMGREN ON DIGITAL CURRENCIES

“We are on the brink of a dramatic change where we are about to, and I’ll say this boldly, we are about to abandon the traditional system of money and accounting and introduce a new one. And the new one; the new accounting is what we call blockchain… It means digital, it means having an almost perfect record of every single transaction that happens in the economy, which will give us far greater clarity over what’s going on.”
Who is Pippa Malmgren? Her father, Harald Malmgren, was a senior adviser to presidents John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson and Gerald Ford. Pippa has also advised presidents and prime ministers around the world.

Among other initiatives, the European Commission plans to propose a “digital euro” in 2023, and China launched a “digital yuan” pilot program in January.

IV.  EVANGELICAL APOSTASY

EVANGELICAL, MUSLIM AND JEWISH LEADERS COMMIT TO WORKING TOGETHER – BY ALL ARAB NEWS STAFF. MARCH 19, 2022

Recognizing the great momentum created by the Global Faith Forum discussions in Dallas and Kansas City earlier this month, the Multi-Faith Neighbors Network (MFNN) held their third and final gathering in Washington, D.C. last week, which culminated in meals being packed for the needy in the local community. The forum’s theme, “Unlikely,” referring to the unexpected alliance between the three major world faiths – Christian, Muslim and Jewish – is based on the premise that transformation begins with intentional relationships and developing deep bonds of mutual trust and respect with leaders of other faiths. Representative leaders from the Evangelical, Muslim and Jewish faiths affirmed their commitment to addressing polarization and politicization within their own communities. They also resolved to collectively break down barriers of fear between different faiths and further cultivate multi-faith relationships to build bridges of understanding and collaboration while maintaining their respective and distinct theologies and identities....” MFNN co-founder Rabbi David Saperstein shared his thoughts about the collaborative approach and why it matters. “In the act of doing what we do, we model a world that we are trying to create…we don’t have a choice; we have to work together,” he said.
Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa, general secretary of the Muslim World League (MWL), based in Saudi Arabia, referenced the Charter of Makkah, a groundbreaking declaration created by the organization in 2019. The document supports anti-extremism, human rights for all people and women’s rights; ensures religious and cultural diversity; encourages peaceful co-existence; and supports legislation against hate, violence and discrimination between religions… “The global community is as divided as it has ever been, and we want to usher in a new chapter,” Al-Issa stated. “As the world becomes inter-connected, there has been an increase in terrorism, driven by social media. Our only hope is to work together to build bridges of respect and harmony among people of all faiths… As with the first two events, the final session incorporated songs and recitations from each faith, including a 17-year-old girl who recited from the Qur’an, which she has committed to memory in its entirety. At the close of each Global Faith Forum, Roberts, Magid, Saperstein and Al-Issa signed a formal statement of intent, committing to building bridges that will stop hate, make peace and facilitate relationships.
ONCE AGAIN, I ASK ANDY STANLEY TO RESIGN – MARCH 9, 2022 BY GRAYSON GILBERT
https://www.patheos.com/blogs/chorusinthechaos/once-again-i-ask-andy-stanley-to-resign/
The reason for this was fairly straightforward, in that while he would not deny the virgin birth, he made statements suggesting that the Christian faith doesn’t hinge off of the account of the virgin birth. This is false.
Later on, Andy Stanley also made comments that earned him the spurn of many Evangelicals, suggesting that it was time to unhitch from the Old Testament.
… In light of this, Andy Stanley suggested that things like miraculous phenomena, the historicity of Adam and Eve, etc., are all negotiable tenets of the Christian faith—that if these things are your hang up—focus instead on Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, for this is the core of the Christian faith.
… In a sermon on Luke 1:1-4 dated March 6, 2022, the following opening statement was made by Andy Stanley: “The Christian faith doesn’t rise and fall on the accuracy [or the inerrancy] of 66 ancient documents [or books we call the Bible]. It rises and falls on the identity of a single individual: Jesus of Nazareth” (brackets include fuller quote to what was seen on social media).
In spite of these things, there are a number of things Andy Stanley stated which are, frankly speaking, contrary to everything I just recorded above. Those with quotations below are direct quotes from the sermon.
  • “The question to ask is if Matthew, Mark, Luke, or—not and—or John, are a reliable account of actual events. If they are, then game on. Faith on.”
  • What matters in the end is what we make of the story and person of Jesus, especially in the resurrection, not that the Bible claims these things happened.
  • The basis of our faith is not in “the Bible tells me so,” but in the event that took place (i.e., the resurrection).
  • If you decide not to follow Christ because the cost is too high for you, this is a somewhat valid reason to not follow Him (paraphrased). “If you choose to follow Jesus—it will eventually make your life better and it will make you better at life, that’s a guarantee. The only good reason not to follow Jesus isn’t that the Bible isn’t true, it’s that you decide that Luke isn’t trustworthy.”
  • “What’s your initial response to the suggestion that the Christian faith rises or falls on the reliability of the Gospels rather than the reliability of the entire Bible? This distinction understandably makes some Christians nervous, but it is the church’s fault. And I’m convinced that this distinction might actually be the key to recapturing and safeguarding the faith of this and the next generation.”
…To make that even more clear, Andy Stanley posits a logical fallacy which is known as the “false dilemma,” where he bifurcates between the Bible’s record of these things and the actual events that transpired in history. It should be relatively obvious to any casual reader of Scripture that we only know of these things with certainty because they are actually recorded for us. The interesting dilemma for Stanley is that he lifts up Luke as the textbook example of a New Testament gospel that we can trust, all the while suggesting coyly that the remainder of the Bible isn’t equally as trustworthy. In fact, as you well saw above, he actually suggests the key to recapturing and safeguarding the faith of this generation and the next is in this principle: that the Christian faith rests or falls upon the reliability of the gospels—not all of Scripture.
…The problem with this mindset is that it presupposes that one’s personal faith can be divorced from the faith as doctrine proper, which all the saints have professed for millennia. We are part of this broader reality called the story of redemption, which is not simply the resurrection, but a story of redemption that culminates in the resurrection. In other words, the resurrection, is the ultimate aim of this story—not the story itself, but even here that verbiage falls short because the ultimate aim of redemptive history is the redemption of all things in the New Heavens and the New Earth. In other words, a gospel that is solely fixated on the moment in time and space where Christ offered Himself up to die on our behalf and rose again, is a truncated gospel, namely, because the resurrection of Christ is the first fruits of the resurrection of all believers, and the renewal of all things, when the curse of sin, Satan, and death and defeated forevermore. This is but a part of the problem when you start to actually apply Andy Stanley’s hermeneutic of “the moment,” as he calls it. The larger issue behind it is the continual, flippant dismissal of the importance of all of Scripture. As we read the Scriptures, we find that no jot or tittle allows us to simply give it a casual, dismissive handwave, let alone proposing what he does, which is to jettison it in favor of affirming just one book (or just the gospels) of Scripture. All of Scripture reveals the God that is, and particularly so, how this One true God has acted throughout all of history. The truth of Genesis 1:1 is equally as foundational to the Christian faith as the truth of the resurrection. The truths of the first eleven chapters of the book of Genesis, in fact, lay the very foundation of the Christian faith we believe today, as it encompasses in a microcosm the reality of creation, fall, redemption (protoevangelium), and restoration through covenant—which is the overall arc of the Bible’s entire story. From this point forward, we simply follow this arc in action, seeing how God is faithful to His covenant promises to the nation of Israel, and ultimately, to the church comprised of every tongue, tribe, and nation.
What you’re inevitably left with from these statements of Stanley (along with his previous ones) is a faith that is able to be compartmentalized apart from the entirety of God’s revelatory plan. More problematic than this is that Stanley deliberately pits Christ against His own Word. Christ Himself gave us the inscripturated word, through the agency of man, by the power of the Spirit.
To put it in the bluntest way I know how, this is absolute anarchy to what the Bible teaches about itself. How we view the authority and inspiration of the Word matters. It is either true and authoritative or it is not, but you cannot know the Jesus of history if you do not know, believe, and love those 66 books that reveal Christ and speak of the fullness of our triune Lord. The point being: we either take God at His Word, and by that, I mean all of it, or we create an artificial divide that God has never intended us to create in the Word. In this divide, we will not merely risk teaching falsely of Christ, we will do so, and most perniciously, we will do so at the expense of our hearers.
It is one thing for an ignorant Christian who is not in a position of teaching authority to hold these views. It is an entirely different one for a pastor to hold these views. Pastors are entrusted with the oracles of God. They are to unfold the text, model a life in submission to that text, and call others to do the same. Their job is to accurately handle the Word of truth. If a man can’t do that in the pulpit, he has no business occupying one.
Rather than shrink back from the Word as the culture spirals down the drain, we ought to be bold men who entrench ourselves further in what is true and right, which invariably means we stand or fall on the Word. For the pastor, this is the only authority you have. For a pastor to say such a thing as Andy Stanley has, is not only foolish, but it will also literally shipwreck the faith of any who actually heed it. If you inevitably pit Scripture against itself in order to say one part is more trustworthy than another, you’ll find little to no ground to stand on which is trustworthy at all. We don’t need more men who downplay the authority and inerrancy of the Scriptures in our day; we need men who proclaim all of God’s counsel to His sheep, with trembling and fear of the stricter judgment promised them, lest they be found a wolf.
In light of this, if you, Andy Stanley, happen to read this at all, I sincerely ask that for the sake of those who hear you and the confusion you generate, and for the myriad of faithful pastors simply seeking to feed Christ’s sheep well, please, step out of the pulpit.
ANDY STANLEY’S APPROACH TO THE VIRGIN BIRTH – DECEMBER 27, 2016,  GERALD HARRIS
https://christianindex.org/andy-stanleys-approach-to-the-virgin-birth/
“One of the challenging things about the Christmas season and one of the challenging things about the Christmas story is, in fact, the Christmas story – the Christmas story as it relates to the birth of Jesus. Because there is so much miraculous, there is so much amazing, there is so much that’s really unbelievable about it and a whole lot of people just don’t believe; and I understand that.” Stanley continued, “Maybe the thought is that they had to come up with some myth about the birth of Jesus to give him street cred later on.” “It is interesting because Matthew gives us a version of the birth of Jesus. Luke does, but Mark and John don’t even mention it; and a lot has been made of that.” “And you have heard me say some version of this a million times, but if somebody can predict their own death and resurrection, I’m not all that concerned about how they got into the world, because the whole resurrection thing is so amazing and, in fact, you should know this. Christianity does not hinge on the truth or even the stories about the birth of Jesus, it really hinges on the resurrection of Jesus.”
Acts 17:6 – When they did not find them, they began dragging Jason and some brothers before the city authorities, shouting, “These men who have upset the world have come here also
Gen. 3:1 – Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”
1 Cor. 15:14 – and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, your faith also is in vain.
Rev. 2:8 – And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life [zaō], says this:
Rev. 13:14 – And he deceives those who live on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who live on the earth to make an image to the beast who *had the wound of the sword and has come to life [zaō].

Woke Chicago church is 'fasting from WHITENESS' for Lent by banning all hymns by Caucasian musicians: Pastor says 'our music will be drawn from the African American spirituals tradition'

GINA MARTINEZ. 6 April 2022

Chicago church has announced it will be 'fasting from whiteness' for Lent by abstaining from performing any hymns composed or written by Caucasian musicians.  The First United Church of Oak Park announced that for 2022 the church would do a mix of 'giving something up' and 'taking something on' for Lent by not using music written or composed by white people but instead focus on music from other cultures. 'In our worship services throughout Lent, we will not be using any music or liturgy written or composed by white people. Our music will be drawn from the African American spirituals tradition, from South African freedom songs, from Native American traditions, and many, many more,' the church's website said…
