Dear District 86 Toastmasters District Council Voting Members
Have you pre-registered yet for the Council Business Meeting on April 23rd? Registration is now open. Your attendance is required for each part/session of the Council Meeting.
- Part 1: Reports and Alignment Vote 9:30 am register here
- Part 2: District Leader Elections 1:30 pm register here
VIRTUAL VOTING REQUIREMENTS: Virtual meeting has a different set of rules. There are no proxies – You cannot assign your vote to another person. You must register - confirm your attendance and your voting information.
Eligible voters must pre-register before April 16th to receive the ZOOM meeting links and be added to the voter list. You must be present for attendance, before the meeting start time, to be on the voter list. **After registering for each business session, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. This is your link to join the Council meeting. Save each link to your calendar.
For election purposes, District 86 uses the Election Runner platform.
If you have not participated in any District election voting before, here is your chance to become familiar with the process used in Election Runner AND to practice voting. At the Town Hall session, you will also be advised about setting up your email so that District voting messages are not directed to “spam”, “junk”, etc.
