More about Grace Kim:

Research for her University of Washington Master of Architecture degree took Grace Kim to Copenhagen for a two-month fellowship to research cohousing. Upon her return to the U.S. in 2004, Kim and her husband Michael Mariano started Schemata Workshop. The vision of Schemata Workshop is empowering communities through architecture and design. Besides cohousing, the firm is dedicated to sustainability. The Schemata Workshop website has details about their environmental commitment.

This event is free to attend because of gifts from several generous individual donors. Your financial encouragement, in amounts modest or large, allows us to continue this work. Thank you. Donations.

New partnership with CohousingUS
Soft launch, and early-bird nat'l conf discounts

Twin Cities Cohouinsg Network (TCCN) has entered into a partnership with the larger, nationwide nonprofit CohousingUS to offer discounts to CohousingUS events--both in-person and online, online previous conference-session content and other valuable online resources.

These substantial discounts come at a cost to TCCN. To receive these valuable partnership benefits, we are requesting a one-time contribution of $60 or more which will cover the rest of 2022. This program is on a calendar-year basis.

With the partnership discount, you'll receive a substantial discount on registration for the national cohousing conference, coming up in August 2022 in Madison, WI. Close to press time, we found out that the early-bird discount for the conference has been extended into May, so our intent is to provide you with more information in the next newsletter. The partnership discount will amplify your savings. You may also wish to stay attuned to our social media channels and website as we roll out information.

The Twin Cities Cohousing Network board has been working to provide you with a great value for stepping up to this level of support. If you're considering going to the conference, we especially encourage you to avail yourself of this program.

More information will be shared in the May newsletter, but if you'd like to sign up now to begin accessing recorded content on the CohoUS website immediately, please use the donate page on our website, and select the $60 (or $100) level and we will be in touch with instructions. Thank you!

Thank you to the Story Circle testers

The spring 2022 beta test of Lynn Englund's three online story circles went well. Thanks to those who participated for their time and willingness to enter a space of deep sharing about their lives with others.
