Introducing the Sonatest Veo3

We are so pleased to introduce an exciting new product, the revolutionary Sonatest Veo3 Phased Array with TFMi™.

For more than 60 years, Sonatest have been paving the way in the non-destructive testing industry, so they know exactly what their customers need in NDT products.

Their new Veo3 retains the best features of the existing Veo line, but offers an additional PCAP touch interface, user templates and live TFMi™.

The thing that truly makes it unique, though, is its live concurrent multi-scan / multi-technique capabilities.

For a long time now, it has been widely recognised and accepted that welds can be inspected using both Phased Array and TOFD. The Veo3 is an instrument that can not only perform live TFMi™but also simultaneously present PA and TOFD in one single acquisition.

Assisting hospital ICU COVID wards

We all know just how handy the Coltraco range of products can be, but did you ever think that they could help hospital ICU COVID wards reduce the transmission of the COVID-19 virus?

CrackTest have been manufactured in Australia for RFS for the past 20+ years in the form of aerosol and bulk for Magnetic Particle Testing.

All CrackTest products are of the highest quality and made compliant to the Australian and International MPI Standards.

They are favoured both by the Australian industry and international users.

Here is a quick rundown of a few of our most popular CrackTest products…

• CTB-3 is available in Aerosol and 20 litre bulk.

• CTF-9 is available in Aerosol and 20 litre bulk.

• CTF-9-HF has a high Flash Point solvent.

• CTW-6 Fast Dry White Background gives an excellent non-powdery surface that allows for easy particle migration on the surface being inspected.

• CTW-4 is a different formulation White Background and is a bulk product background which comes in 4 and 20 litre drums.

• CTC-1 Cleaner will remove our White Background Paints and can also be used as a degreaser and in Dye Penetrant systems.

The many benefits of CrackTest Permanent Magnets

Speaking of CrackTest, have you ever used their Permanent Magnets?

If not, now is the perfect time to learn more about them and to try them out. They are widely used in locations where it is not possible or convenient to use an electromagnetic yoke and the CT-M magnets will comfortably pick up a 20kg test weight.

They’re also manufactured in both Aluminium and Stainless Steel, which is generally safe to use in coal mines.

The mild steel plug at the front of CrackTest Permanent Magnets allows for a good work face away from the brittle magnet itself and they are supplied with a magnetic keeper to allow for easy air freight transport with a suitable amount of wrapping.
