2022-2023 Parent Committee
The SLC Parent Committee supports the school by hosting events, helping with fundraising and creating a collaborative community. Since the pandemic began the committee has been small, but mighty, supporting the school behind the scenes. Our hope for the 2022-2023 school year is to "re-establish" committees that are so important in fostering SLC's awesome community. If you would like to get involved we'd love to chat! Family Concert
Little Miss Ann has taught at SLC in the past, and is hosting a kids concert on Saturday, April 23rd at the Northbrook Public Library from 10:30-11:15 AM.

Highlighting Black-Owned Businesses in our Community
Noir d' Ebene Chocolate et Patisserie located at 1309 Chicago Avenue in Evanston (right down the street form SLC!). Pastry chef and owner, Journey Shannon was born and raised in Evanston. Her shop is an artisanal pastry and chocolate boutique that offers the gift of chocolate, cookies, brownies and pastries. Journey says, "each one of our chocolates is an exciting adventure–a distinctive and unique culinary experience." Stop in the next time your in the neighborhood!
