Give Local York Stretch Pool(s) &
Prizes Announced

We're excited to share that, thanks to our generous Stretch Pool sponsors, we'll be heading into May 6 with more than $341,000 in Stretch, Match & Prize Funds for participating organizations, with an opportunity for that number to grow up to and on Give Day!

Stretch Pools

$310,000 in additional funds for May 6!

Here is the info on the available Stretch Pools. Organizations eligible for additional Stretches will receive communication as to their participation.

Additional Stretch Pool dollars may be added in advance of Give Day and donors have the option to give to the Stretch Pool on May 6.

Give Local York Stretch Pool - $215,000
Supported by The Pullo Family, The Arthur J. & Lee R. Glatfelter Foundation, UPMC, Hollywood Casino York, Powder Mill Foundation, Rodgers & Associate, Stewart Companies, Tito's, and M&T Bank

Stretch Pool funds will be shared by all participating nonprofits receiving donations during Give Local York. The amount received will be proportional to each organization’s percentage of the total funds raised during the event. For example, if your organization receives 2% of the total funds raised through Give Local you will receive 2% of the available bonus funds. Stretch Pool funds are based on gifts before fees are assessed. However, to prevent substantial donations from skewing the allocation of Stretch Pool funds, maximum donations of $10,000 per donor per nonprofit organization will qualify for matching funds. If a gift larger than $10,000 is made only the first $10,000 will be counted toward the Stretch Pool.

Cultural Alliance ArtsMatch - $25,000
Supported by the Cultural Alliance of York County

To promote support for the arts during Give Local York, The Cultural Alliance of York County is providing a $25,000 Arts Match Stretch pool for York-based arts & culture organizations.
The Cultural Alliance Arts Match is available to participating Give Local York 501(c)3 organizations with arts & culture as their primary mission. The Cultural Alliance Arts Match pool will provide a 1:1 match of all qualifying online gifts made through the givelocalyork.org website on May 6, 2022, with a maximum of $2,500 total match available per arts participant.

York County Community Foundation - $25,000
Stretch Pool for YCCF Agency Fundholders

The $25,000 Stretch Pool is only available to those nonprofits with an agency endowment at YCCF. The pool will be divided evenly between all participating organizations with an agency endowment. It's just our way of saying "thank you" for trusting YCCF to be your partner and for all of the work you do to make a vibrant York County!

United Way Partner Stretch Pool - $25,000
Supported by the United Way of York County

As support for United Way Partner Agencies participating in Give Local York, The United Way of York County is providing a $25,000 Stretch Pool for all United Way Partner Agencies to be shared evenly among all Partner Agencies.

PNC Early Childhood Match - $10,000
Supported by PNC

PNC believes that an investment in pre-K students makes good economic sense and plants the seeds for the dynamic workforce of tomorrow. For the last 15 years, they've focused on early learning to help children succeed and are proud to continue that commitment through Give Local York. The four recipients of the PNC Early Childhood Match in 2022 are Community Progress Council, Child Care Consultants, York Day Nursery and YMCA of the Roses.

Memorial Health Fund - $10,000
Give Local York Healthcare Stretch Pool

The Memorial Health Fund seeks to transform the way our community addresses compelling health issues, funding programs that improve the complete physical, mental and social well-being of the residents of York and its surrounding communities. Stretch Pool funds will be shared by all participating nonprofits in the “Health and Wellness” category receiving donations during Give Local York. The amount received will be proportional to each organization’s percentage of the total funds raised during the event.
