Dear Friends and Partners,

The following is copied and shared with permission and reflects a deeply personal  perspective forged amid the daily suffering and sacrifice caused by the war in Ukraine.  This update is offered to inform and encourage your prayerful support for all who are affected by this tragedy.

If you would like to help us with humanitarian aid efforts you can donate through our  website https://ipministry.org/donate/. The needs are growing as we keep helping thousands of people to move west within Ukraine and also helping those who want to leave the country temporarily. We need funds most of all for gas, but also for food and various supplies (medical, bed linens, mattresses, etc). Thank you.

Update from Maia:

Day 47 of russian invasion.
Busy morning and afternoon in Kyiv church. Our church from Uman “Resurrection of Christ” brought to us more humanitarian aid. So our morning started with unloading Uman van. That was just a warm up. Then it was time to pack food packages for tomorrow’s trip to suburbs of Kyiv that used to be under russian occupation for a few weeks. For an hour or so it was like a beehive buzzing with great energy and purposeful activity. In no time 225 food packages were packed and our church van was loaded for tomorrow’s trip. Once again working together to help others lifted everybody’s spirits. Even some people passing by the church and seeing the activity of unloading the van wanted to join in and help. Having a chance to do something purposeful feels really good.

I was thinking the other day about Maslow’s pyramid of needs. The war has brought us down to the very basic needs for food, water, warmth, safety. But our need to belong as well as needs for self-realization/meaningful activity are still very much there.

Galatians 6:9-10
"9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people."

225 food packages to be delivered tomorrow to the suburbs of Kiyv

Briana - our perfect gift from God. ❤️

"James 1:17-18
17 Everything good comes from God. Every perfect gift is from him. These good gifts come down from the Father who made all the lights in the sky. But God never changes like the shadows from those lights. He is always the same. 18 God decided to give us life through the true message he sent to us. He wanted us to be the most important of all that he created."
