Dear Dominican Parents –

I hope this message finds you well as we celebrate Holy Week. This week we are invited to walk with Christ and enter into the mystery of His suffering, death, and resurrection for our salvation. May we all discover the many treasures of grace offered to us by experiencing Christ’s great love for us.

Mr. Friday and the Campus Ministry team is providing our community with an opportunity to pray together this Holy Week.  Students, staff and parents are invited to join the Dominican community for our annual Holy Thursday Prayer Service at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, April 14th. This prayer service brings the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ into our modern day through storytelling, song, scripture, videography, and prayer.

This week our school is also celebrating the achievement of our robotics team for winning the Rookie All-Star Award at the FIRST Robotics regional competition. The TermiKnightors earned a berth to the World Championships in Houston, that runs from April 20-23.  To help send our robotics team to Houston, Dominican is offering a Jeans Day and Donuts fundraiser on Wednesday, April 13th.  If students bring in $5 for the robotics team on Wednesday morning, they will be allowed to wear jeans and receive a morning treat.  We encourage all students to have some fun and help us send our robotics students to Houston.

May you have a peaceful and faith-filled Holy Week.

Sincerely,

Edward Foy

Principal
