Claro Travels

Poundbury UKUL Urban event 9 April 2022
Ensuring Claro is represented everywhere, Ruth  took her shiny new kit ( and her High Viz shoes Ed) to furthest Dorset on Saturday to the extraordinarily, bizarre new town of Poundbury.   The photos below give no impression.

There is a webcam up on Wimborne Orienteers Facebook if you have the dedication to explore it properly.   Otherwise, Googling it is entertaining and Ruth can recommend getting yourself there at your first opportunity.  Ruth says "If only so much thought went into all the new build around here.  I’m not saying I’d like it all like Poundbury.   I’d just like it all thought about as much.

Tour De Ned

As a few Claros also follow the cycling ( some are even having a rest day on the JK missing the Long so they can watch the Paris -Roubaix ) Linda has suggested that there could be a club social event to see Ned Boulting ( A noted cycling commentator ) at Ilkley Kings Hall on Wednesday 26th October., with possibly some food before hand. Seats are available here and if there is enough of us going we can sort out a venue for beforehand.
