Come join us at our May 23rd Volunteer Meeting to learn about the events that Crossroads Service Unit is planning to put on for our Girl Scouts for the next school year!

- Scouts on Skates
- World Thinking Day
- Journeys in a Day

Fall Campout 2022
Registration Open for Younger Girls
Younger Girls
Join us in the outdoors and go on an adventure! Younger Girls will attend workshops that will cover all steps of the Brownie Letterboxing or Junior Orienteering badges led by their Older Girl sisters!
This is open to rising Brownies (current 1st Graders who will be 2nd Grade Brownies in the 2022-2023 school year).
Who: rising Brownies, Brownies, Juniors (current 1st-4th Gr)
Date: TBD (attempting for 9/30-10/2 or 10/14-10/16, will confirm dates at end of June 2022) (*)
Time: Friday, 5pm through Sunday, 11am
Place: Hoping for Girl Scouts Camp Butano Creek, 1400 Canyon Road, Pescadero, CA (will confirm location at end of August 2022)
Cost: $55 for Younger Girls; $50 for Younger Girl Adults
Includes: t-shirt, badge, event patch, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday breakfast

Deadline to Register: Wednesday, June 1, 2022 (Registration BY TROOP only; non-refundable $10 deposit to guarantee your spot)
Final Registration Deadline: Wednesday, August 3 1, 2022 (Registration BY TROOP only)
Note: All registered girl and adult attendees must plan on staying for the entire weekend event. Sorry, no Saturday arrivals or early departures on Saturday or Sunday will be permitted.
(*) All registrations need to be made with the understanding that the date could be for either weekend (9/30-10/2 or 10/14-10/16). Council will let us know at end of June which weekend we have been assigned. Cancellations are non-refundable, but for changes made by 3 weeks prior to camp we may be able to offer a refund if a replacement girl/adult can take that spot.
Limited to 100 Younger Girls and 20 Younger Girl Adults (Maximum of 2 adults per Troop - no exceptions) – Register by Troop Only – Safety-Wise Ratios Required.
**** One adult from each Troop MUST complete “Camp Out Certification” in order for the Troop to attend Fall Campout. Link here for Camp Out Certification information. ****
There is a MANDATORY ZOOM MEETING for all adults attending Fall Campout, date and time TBD (Zoom link will be sent out to registered adults)
COVID-19 Guidelines for GSNorCal Members will be followed (link here for latest information), regarding masks, camping, food and carpooling.

Renew For Another Exciting Year

▶ Troops earn an additional 10¢ per package of cookies sold during the 2023 Cookie Season when you retain 70% or more of your troop’s number of girls through renewals or new memberships! Juliette Girl Scouts are also eligible for this incentive.
▶ Girls earn a collectible Early Bird patch, featuring Skye! All renewed girls will automatically receive the patch, but adult members and graduating seniors can also get in on the fun—just be sure to request your patch here! (Pssst...purchasing a lifetime membership is a great way to use up those reward cards!)
▶ Girls can earn a Make New Friends patch! Early Bird season is also Extended Membership Year season, which means new girls can join Girl Scouts for the rest of this membership year and all of next membership year for just $50. When girls recruit a friend to join during Extended Membership, BOTH girls receive the Make New Friends Patch! Patches can be claimed here!

Crossroads Facebook Closed Group
We have a "closed group" on our Facebook Page. This is for adults who are registered Girl Scouts and are screened and cleared. Because this is a closed group we can share more specific information about service unit events and happenings within Girl Scouts.
If you would like to be a member of the closed group, use the link to our Facebook Home Page (click here), once there click "More" then "Groups". From there you can request to join the group. Once an administrator has verified your membership and volunteer clearance you will be added.
If you notice you have not been approved, be sure to check your Facebook messages. Sometimes we need to email and follow-up with questions, as our Girl Scout and Facebook names may be different.
