We kicked off International Women's Day (or month for us!) with #IMbeautiful, a makeover and photography session for our clients sponsored by Charles & Keith, FotoHub and Tennzing Communications.

Our client Fikriyah shares, "I'm thankful to Image Mission (IM) because the support I get doesn't end when I finish a programme or job. I continue to join the workshops they regularly conduct for us and stay connected with the IM community - just like the opportunity to sign up for the #IMBeautiful event. I was so excited! We were thrilled to run our second #IamRemarkable workshop facilitated by our friends at Google. The workshop led by Shohini Sengupta and Feihong Chen provided a safe space for our clients to share their experiences, express their achievements and quite literally, shout about them!

Finding Confidence to Build Your Career with L'Oréal

Who better than L'Oréal (with their famous tagline 'Because You're Worth It') to help our clients find their confidence to build their career? As part of their #LessonsOfWorth campaign, L'Oréal's Director of Corporate Affairs, Engagement, Sustainability, Consumer Advisory Isabelle Lim and Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist Shayne Ng, shared a four-step process with our clients on how to overcome self-doubt and build their career (identify strengths, areas of development, priorities and goals).

Your Hour Her Power

In conjunction with International Women's Month, we launched our Your Hour Her Power fundraising campaign, which encouraged donors to pay it forward by giving the equivalent of just one hour of their salary.

Thanks to your generous support, we raised more than $9,000 for our YHHP campaign which will give our clients access to programmes, services, and tools that will help them achieve economic advancement.

Lazada IWD Livestream

Our Your Hour Her Power partner Lazada hosted an International Women's Day livestream special featuring women entrepreneurs including Image Mission Founder Li Kin. Li Kin shared about the importance of gender equality in the workforce and how her personal journey inspired her to help women achieve economic independence.
