The Spiral Dance of Wholeness

We dance in Wholeness to Remember our Nature.

Essentials:
Humming during tea time -- dancing the Pattern to find your thread.

Please note this is the last week of Line-trajectory so Friday is HEARTH Friday Gathering.  What do you want to take with from line-trajectory ?  What thread weaves with the gist of vibration/layers/fluidity that you have begun to weave?

Images in this email: From Megan -- reflecting line and the disintegration/integration explorations we are doing.

Line•Trajectory

Pattern of Nature (AKA Metapattern):  Line•Trajectory

Perspective of Joy (AKA Consciousness): I am a Relational Being.  I AM • You ARE
My truth•Your truth    Is there truth?

Physical Root: Adrenals • the trajectory from center below the navel (tan tien), to the adrenal back and up on top of kidneys.
Developmental Pattern correlation: Starfish -- the six limbs extending from my belly/adrenal line. Flow periphery to center and center to periphery through the limbs.
Archetype
: Warrior

Nature: Lightening bolts, tree-plant -- any thing moving directionally. Geese--migrations....  Starfish -- radiating forms.
Social/political:
Power in relationship.

Creating: As we dance all the patterns: What images. stories, poems, sculptures, fabrics, objects evoke line/trajectory for you as you move through all the patterns?
What linear creations can you explore making as we move through these three weeks?

Reflective Landmarks to Orient our play today

What aspect of line trajectory is most resonant for you ?

How would you distill the experience or idea or gist to carry forward and explore?

Roots to wings -- the roots for our basic movement of folding and unfolding.

How do you find your center as you extend into the world?

What is the difference in the sensation of feeling integrated compared to disconnected?

Resonance

37. Monday

Jennifer: Have to leave a bit early today - I am feeling more and more able to sense the integration through my torso - yes!!!!!

Alison: I like holding a ball in or bean pillow in my hands as I explore arm movements - the resistance is assistance

Megan: The comparison between sounding/singing a “lifted” sternum versus integrated all the way through from a deeper place was revelatory today. Thank you.

Email:

Megan: The comparison between sounding/singing when my sternum was “lifted” vs. when I uncurled to full volume (no over-extension) with the feeling of integration through my entire self, from feet (roots) to crown of head, was revelatory. I experienced more ease in the feeling of making sound and more warmth/fullness in the sound itself (I think). I also noticed myself feeling more at ease about my future when there was a moment of pause to notice “where I am” and “where I want to be” and recognizing “where I have been”, and to not judge any of it, but simply acknowledge and perhaps be curious about the trajectory. The unpleasant feelings of dis-ease or worry seem to be akin to “getting ahead of myself” or “not checking in/listening to the signals” - moments when I am not fully integrated. If I am in a rush to accomplish something, or I have been doing something for so long without pause, there is disconnection, evidenced by a sensation of tension or pain or struggle. A moment of pause, a chance to slow down, a chance to move in a different way or different direction, with or without an object/different intention, might help in these moments of tension, pain, or struggle. I feel like I’ve reflected on this before, but here it is again.

Micha: I got to catch up on the Monday class this morning. What a joy to explore with you!

There is a video that I wanted to share with everyone ... (It becomes apparent that I really like videos for kids to explain the world to me.) This one answers the question: “How do flowers bloom in spring?” - What I liked is that it brought a connection of fluid to line/trajectory to me. Plus it also adds an interesting visual of movement from the ground up and through the limbs … Enjoy!

Many hugs to you and the group. I miss seeing everyone and look forward to being back in person at the latest in the week after Easter. :-)
