We are pleased to invite you to the 20^th Annual BMDA Conference “From Digitalization to Value Creation and Sustainability: Implications for Business and Education” which will be hosted by School of Economics and Business (Kaunas University of Technology) and will take place on 5 - 7 October, 2022 in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The Conference will bring together prominent international speakers as well as representatives from industry, public authorities, researchers to explore and discuss opportunities and strength related to shift from orientation to digitalization and focusing to value and sustainability creation.

In addition to listening to inspiring Conference speakers, participating in discussions, various hands on experience activities, Conference participants will be able to explore "Santaka valley" by visiting different businesses and laboratories working in the complex, meet old acquaintances and making new connections during networking occasions as well as to become a part of BMDA Awards ceremony with will be performed during the outstanding Gala dinner!

9 reasons why not to start business by Syed Raza - guest lecture at entrepreneurial nest UDG

On Friday, March 18th, 2022, starting at 10 am, as part of the "Miracles" event in the Entrepreneurial Nest of UDG, students had the opportunity to attend a lecture by Mr. Syed Raza, an entrepreneur and owner of Laganoo. Mr. Raza owns several companies abroad and in Montenegro. He specializes in the field of catering investments, acquisitions, bankruptcy services, consulting services for hotel construction and other catering and tourist investments, as well as industrial and commercial investments.

Guest lecture of the ambassador of the United States of America, her excellency Judy Rising Reinke at UDG

The Ambassador of the United States of America to Montenegro, Her Excellency Judy Rising Reinke, gave a lecture today at the University of Donja Gorica to students.

Almaty Management University is expanding collaboration with the US Consulate

US Consul General in Almaty – Ms. Caroline Savage* and Consulate team: Assistant Public Affairs Officer Chad Kinnear, Education Coordinator Zhanna Toktarova, Information Assistant Aigul Kassymova visited AlmaU in the end of February 2022. Almaty Management University represented by Rector Gulnara Kurenkeyeva, Vice Rector Aigerim Kaumenova, Director of International Office Assel Nurgazina and Head of International development unit- Darya Nelidova, led a discussion on cooperation opportunities with the US Diplomatic Mission in Kazakhstan.

Almaty Management University's "Accounting and Auditing" program was accredited by CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and re-accredited by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants)

"Accounting and Auditing" program of the School of Economics and Finance was re-accredited by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), the British Association of Certified Accountants, uniting professionals in the field of finance, accounting and auditing. ACCA is the global body for professional accountants with over 200,000 fully-qualified members and 500,000 students worldwide - and they're among the world's best-qualified and most highly sought-after accountants. The accreditation of the “Accounting and Audit” program with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business is valid from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2026. Previously, the program was accredited for the period from 2016 to 2021.

AlmaU's MBA graduate took silver at the MBA Leadership Award 2022

Zahira Begalieva, an MBA graduate of the AlmaU Graduate School of Business of 2017, reached the final stage in the MBA Leadership Award 2022 nomination and took second place!
