Great, fun, innovative team building activity - highly recommended!”

Is your team too big for a typical escape room? Then  we’ve got a great new game to offer. Developed especially for groups of 15 to 25 players, Time Crimes is a rich and exciting game that challenges you and your team to communicate and collaborate.

“Challenging, Intense, and Exciting. These three words can be the best definition of Time Crimes. We had an excellent experience trying to solve the well-elaborated and mind-bending puzzles."
Dimita Markopoulou, Karl Lagerfeld

Curious about Time Crimes for your team? Come play at our headquarters in Amsterdam, or on location anywhere you like!

Online Tournament with your team

The most asked feature for our online games, to have a built-in tournament mode where you can battle your colleagues for a faster time, has been added! This mode is available for both our virtual escape games: Marvin’s Island and Marvin’s Moonbase. Especially suitable for international teams that haven’t seen eachother in a while.

Wanted: Head of Marketing

If you know anyone with strong experience in marketing and branding, we might just
be looking for them!

We’ve got half a dozen projects getting ready to launch, including our first big flagship production in the Beurs van Berlage in 7 years (more on that soon!). We’re looking for someone that can lead our efforts in marketing the different types of experiences we develop, with an eye for design and a knack for online.

Job description

Co-founder wanted:
Department of Home Mysteries

We’re looking for a bright and entrepreneurial mind to partner with us to build an exciting new branch of Sherlocked: the Department of Home Mysteries.

At the moment, we have 3 tabletop home adventures in different stages of development and we’re looking for an experienced partner, or co-founder even, to help make this a powerful new division of Sherlocked. Our timeline is to find this partner in the course of the next 4-5 months, and to get started with this in earnest in September.

Do you feel you might be that person?
Send us an email and tell us why you’re excited by this opportunity and what might make you a good match for it.

Last day: The Book of Dreams

Today's your last chance to score a copy of our unique and one-time-only charity puzzle project:
The Book of Dreams.

Created by 12 puzzle makers from around the globe, Sherlocked is contributing a chapter full of magic and augmented reality.

All profits go to Doctors Without Borders and this crowdfunding is the ONLY opportunity to ever buy this book -there will be no more prints after this.

Experiencing Hotel Wonderland

Our friend and former colleague Tristan has created something magical inside an old munitions factory near Amsterdam: a theater experience unlike any other called Hotel Wonderland. Sherlocked’s Head of Development, Francine, has written about the experience on our blog [Dutch].

Read it here

FYI: in a previous newsletter, we announced a special Crossed Keys night at Hotel Wonderland, which had to be postponed because of the lockdown this winter. A new date will be picked soon and communicated with all ticket holders.

One last note: over the past 2,5 years, we’ve slowly been designing our next flagship experience, and it’s often been challenging. With the lockdowns, delays, price hikes, closures and reopenings, it feels like we’ve been rolling a boulder up a hill for a long time, but the top of the mountain is coming into view. We deeply appreciate your interest in our work and your support over the years, and we can’t wait to share with you what we’ve been working on for so long.

Mysteriously yours,
