Welcome to our AGM 2022 Newsletter Express Special.

There is a great opportunity to contribute to work of the u3a movement by standing for election as a trustee of the Third Age Trust.

The u3a movement is filled with talented and skilled members. If you think you could contribute to the future of the Third Age Trust and its work with u3as then please do consider putting yourself forward as a candidate.

The closing date for nominations is 17 June - this Friday.

You will need to be nominated and seconded by two u3as, one of which must be your u3a. You will work with committed fellow trustees and a dedicated volunteer and staff team. If you have the time and energy, this could be your opportunity to shape the future of the u3a movement.

Don't Miss Your Chance to Stand in our Director Elections

The AGM 2022 is coming up and the closing date to stand in the Director Elections is by the end of the day on Friday 17 June.

We welcome applications for the following officer role:
Vice-Chair

Members in the following regions/devolved nations are also invited to stand for election:

Northern Ireland
North East
London
East Midlands
Scotland
Wales

Any u3a member can stand for a role in their region - they just need to be supported by two u3as in that region, including their own u3a.
