✍️ The Orwell Youth Prize 2022 - Send Us Your Game Designs!

Using the writings of George Orwell as a starting point, the Orwell Youth Prize aims to inspire entrants in school years 8-13 to think and write about the world they live in and issues that matter today.

This year's theme is COMING UP FOR AIR: WRITING THE CLIMATE CRISIS - and they are particularly encouraging entries in the form of video game design. Check out the resource we helped create all about how to write in the form of games

“As we all know, combating the climate crisis and ensuring the safe future of our planet involves making some difficult decisions. Many of the best games are also based around challenging decision-making, where each choice you make has an impact on what your options are going forward. We believe that gaming is fertile ground for thinking about politics and society.” - Orwell Youth Prize.

The deadline for submissions is the 22nd of April 2022.

🏆 The Rookie Awards 2022 are still open for entry - the world’s leading contest for aspiring creatives in games, animation, visual effects, immersive media, motion graphics, and 3D visualisation.
