Join us every Tuesday and Thursday at 1 PM in a sacred rhythm of Praying for Peace at the Community of Christ Temple World Plaza. Each day we uphold a different country around the world, and turn our hearts toward the work of peace. For those who have desire, our rooftop labyrinth is always available to the community for continued practice and reflection. 

Important Note on Location: Beginning on November 1, we will begin hosting the Prayer for Peace inside the Temple. The Temple remains open in a limited way, so our general practice will be to gather at the Main (East) entrance, travel to our prayer location, and then journey back to the entrance together to conclude our time of sharing and practice. Staff facilitators will be available at 12:50p for Temple entry.  

African American Memorial Tour – Sunday, 10-9-22, 2:30, 101 E Kansas, Liberty, Mo. no registration, no fee.  Learn about some of the history of racism in the Kansas City area.
Dividing Lines Tour – Sunday, 10-30-22, 2:00, meet in the Good Shepherd parking lot, ride the mission center bus and listen to a guided tour in Kansas City centered on racism and red lining.  Registration will be required as the bus only seats 40, no fee.  Registration link will be on the JPAT website.
