👋 Welcome Back
This year, we are looking forward to welcoming back so many important Wellesley traditions that faded away in the turmoil of the past two years. Those traditions hold meaning because of all of you, the former student-athletes, coaches, families, and Friends of Wellesley Athletics.
We hope you will join us next month for our annual homecoming celebration during Friends and Family Weekend, October 22-23. For the first time since 2018, that weekend will also include recognition of the newest inductees into our Athletics Hall of Fame. Not only is this a chance for us to celebrate our greatest alumnae student-athletes but also to welcome back and relive their stories and accomplishments. Those memories are especially powerful this year as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX and what that moment meant for equality and access to sport in this country and at Wellesley.
If not at Wellesley, then we hope to see you in some other way this year, on social media or even supporting our student-athletes at an event beyond campus (our cross country team will be competing in Michigan this weekend!). So welcome back, to those of you we will see soon and to those of you who are cheering from afar. We look forward to celebrating our traditions, history and another great year in Wellesley Athletics.
Go Blue!
