This learning collaborative is a special group of early care and education (ECE) providers, committed to supporting the health of young children through incorporating Farm to ECE activities into their programs. Over the next few months, you will participate in several training sessions, receive customized technical assistance and support, and use Go NAPSACC’s trusted tools to make healthy changes related to Farm to ECE. Your work will have an important impact on your program and the lives of the children and families you serve.
Each program that completes all requirements will be eligible to receive $500 in implementation funds. All programs will also receive Welcome Kits with goodies and resources upon completion of the Orientation Session.
To kick off the learning collaborative, we will have an orientation training session in the month of October. These will be in-person. We will hold a session in Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile and Montgomery. If none of these locations work for you, please reach out to us. We are here to help you. You can register for your Orientation Session here.
Following the orientation session, we will meet once per month virtually. You will receive certificates of attendance for each training you attend.
We ask that each program completes a Farm to ECE Self-Assessment on Go NAPSACC during the learning collaborative. There is no expense associated with this and we will walk you through that process during the orientation session.
There will be additional opportunities throughout the learning collaborative for technical assistance. Christina and Emily are only an email/phone call away!
