We appreciate all of our amazing parents for coming and meeting with teachers at our West Lake Building on Tuesday and at Granger this past Wednesday. Your support is greatly appreciated and together we can help your student succeed.

Our school has designated tech-free spaces, this includes our hallways, classrooms, and bathrooms. Students are not allowed to use their phone in class or during classroom transitions. If students wish to use their tech, they can do so Before School, During Lunch, and After School.
We appreciate your continued support of our school phone policy, as it ensures the emotional, psychological, and physical safety of all of our students.

The first boys game will be at home at West Lake on 9/28. The first girls game will be away at Kearns on 9/28. All games start no later than 3:15pm.
After AWAY games students will be dropped off at: 3175 S 3450 W, West Valley City, UT 84119 . This is the church nearest the original West Lake STEM. Students can walk from there or will need to be picked up.
After HOME games students will take the after school activity bus (or they can be picked up).
If students are not in a sport, but want to spectate, they will need to arrange their own transportation; they will not be on allowed on the busses.

West Lake STEM's (Co-Ed) Cross Country practices end this week. At the Cross Country Divisional Meet 6 students got ribbons for being in the top 20 in the races. We are so proud of them and appreciate you allowing your students to participate in our after school activity.
The Cross Country District Championship will be at Valley Park (Taylorsville Rec). Please come support your students. The meet starts around 3:00pm.

We want all of our families to be aware of our school dress code. This code applies to ALL students. We ask that you speak to your student about the dress code, especially about certain clothing brands that promote illegal or inappropriate activity.
Although we all have different views regarding appropriate dress, we want to give dignity to the learning environment and ensure that our clothing creates a safe and welcoming environment.
