Establishing a Records Management Program

This free in-person workshop (October 13) will identify the necessary steps to establish a Records Management Program and share requirements on managing information, including personal information. There will be a review of best practices and an opportunity to get your questions answered about records management and privacy.


Sport Participation Support Program

This program provides financial assistance to non-profit organizations towards the development and operation of projects or programs that increase sport opportunities for athletes, coaches, officials and volunteer leaders from under-represented and marginalized populations or that support projects strengthening physical literacy in children and youth participation that are compatible with the first 3 stages of the long-term development framework.


Canada Launches GCDonate Platform

GCDonate is GCSurplus’ online platform designed to advertise Government of Canada surplus moveable assets available for donation to designated eligible groups and organizations including charitable or non-profit organizations.


National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Each year, September 30 marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On January 19, 2018, Health Canada hosted a panel discussion with Indigenous leaders and experts to discuss Reconciliation – What Does it Mean? On September 29, a free interactive webinar session will explore how Right To Play in partnership with over 75 Indigenous communities across Canada is working to advance the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action and United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous peoples through the power of play.

Youth Sport in Canada – State of Play Survey

Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities is deploying a nationwide State of Play survey of youth in Canada to better understand the current challenges and opportunities facing youth aged 8–18 to access quality sport.

Same Game Challenge

This project will support organizations to advance gender equity and improve opportunities for women and girls as participants and leaders in sport. The application deadline is October 2.
