Dear Readers,
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!
We hope your summer vacation was as restful as it was deserved.
Now that we have all settled into our routine and new challenges await us, we think it is important to remind ourselves that adopting a preventive attitude toward our work early on may very well help avoid having to handle crises. Therefore, this month’s inspirational reading section will provide tips and reflections on this issue.
Of course, you will also have access to everything that is already being added to the agenda (workshops, webinars, APCs, etc.) and news from our partners.
Have a wonderful school year!
Julie & Micheline

How to prioritize work when everything’s important
“Busyness” doesn’t always equate with progress—these prioritization techniques will help you make the most of your workday
by Caitlin Bishop, February 6, 2020
During the workday, tasks are often prioritized (or not) according to the needs of others or the immediacy of deadlines. This can happen in our personal lives, too, with limited time spent on activities that are actually important, and more energy spent being “busy.” Prioritizing tasks effectively—with intention and according to future goals—can change this, ensuring that every task you tackle drives value and keeping unimportant tasks from cluttering your to-do list.
