"That was quite hard to get our heads around"

Being person-centered in the appointment benefits both client and clinician, but the absence of it can hinder the decision-making process for a client. This becomes trickier when the decision makers are worried parents.

Watch the video, "Less technical and... a bit more personal, I think," where George's parents share their experience assessing their son's hearing health and the impact the absence of PCC had on the process.

Help your young clients reflect on their hearing needs

Deciding on the best treatment for a client is easier when they are given the time to reflect on how their hearing loss affects their daily activities.

Our preparation tools: Living Well, The People I Talk To, and Why Improve My Communication, help young clients reflect on their hearing successes and challenges so you can work together to create the right plan for them.
I want these tools for my young clients!

A good place to start

RNID, one of our partners in the U.K., is running a campaign to get everyone to test their hearing - all that's needed is a phone or a laptop and a set of earphones.

The test is hugely popular and more than 76,500 people have already used it to check their hearing.
