Dear CRHE Supporter,

A sincere thanks to those who have donated and pledged in support of our ambitious September fundraising goal of $5,000 in donations and pledges and 10 new monthly donors. I’m writing to update you on our progress – and it’s good news. As of today, we have $3,620 raised and pledged toward our goal. That means we’re 72% of the way there! We also have 8 new recurring donors so far this month. We need just 2 more to reach our goal!

Your support for CRHE couldn’t come at a more crucial time. Two new op-eds this week in TIME Magazine and the Washington Post attack the parental rights organizations run by leaders of the homeschooling movement as bad for students and American democracy alike. That’s an argument CRHE has been making for years. Our message of homeschooling reform and student empowerment is finally being heard.

Next month, we’re taking things further – holding a leadership summit to help advocacy organizations combat parental rights extremism and support all students, including homeschooled ones. And with additional support, we can begin the next phase of our work: developing our acclaimed policy recommendations into model legislation that state legislators can use to fix the broken system of homeschooling.

But to do all of this work sustainably and over the long term, we need your help. Please consider a gift of any size to help us reach our fundraising goal for this month. Or become a monthly donor: even a $5 recurring donation, enough for a cup of coffee each month, makes a major difference in our work and helps us plan and budget for the future.

CRHE’s work is impossible without the generosity of our supporters. There's no way around it: we can't do the work that needs to be done without your help. Please help us get to the finish line so we can continue fulfilling our mission now and in the future.

Donate to CRHE
Sincerely,
Angela Grimberg (she/her)
