How then will they call on him whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Rom 10.14-15).

Pastor Percy & Cristo Redentor

Please join us in praying for Pastor Percy Padilla and the Cristo Redentor Mission in the Parque Industrial neighborhood. There are serious challenges in this neighborhood from economic needs to extortion rackets and gang violence. Pastor Percy and his team, however, are working hard to proclaim the Gospel and demonstrate the love of Christ in tangible ways. A vibrant youth group is one sign of hope. Another is the Christ Kids program. Children in the program receive nutritious meals, medical care, specialist tutoring, and participate in a Bible Club where they are learning the Scriptures. MosPlease join us in praying for Jesus to transform the lives of these children, their families, and their entire neighborhood!

Geneva Celebrates Eight Years

Geneva School recently celebrated eight years of ministry. The anniversary activities started off with a Thanksgiving service with Pastor Ricardo preaching to a very packed church. Later the children and families processed through the neighborhood with singing to celebrate these past eight years. May the Lord give Geneva many more years of service to Christ and this city. Please pray that the school would be God’s instrument to train a new generation of faithful Christians and leaders for church and society!

Our Team

Field Notes

  1. Praise the Lord with us for Christopher Huamantumba who recently became an official candidate for the Gospel Ministry under care of our presbytery. Christopher is a seminary student and leads the youth ministry in the Christ the Restorer Church.

  2. Please pray for Luis Mendoza as he prepares for ordination exams in November. This has been posponed a couple of times. Lord willing he’ll be ordained to the Gospel Ministry the first week in December.

  3. Pray for the licensing process for our next grade of secondary school. The new school year starts in March but government agencies still aren’t moving very quickly after COVID and time is short. We expect to enroll close to 270 students in grades K3-8th.

  4. We also have to build a classroom, restrooms, and a teachers’ conference room before the new year starts. Construction costs are just over $37,000. Please pray for our fundraising efforts and, if you are able, we would be most grateful if you could help us with a donation.

  5. Christ Kids in Parque Industrial has 13 children waiting for a sponsor. Can you sponsor a child? Click here for more information.
