Jehanne Dubrow Book Reading
October 19, 2022 - 7:00 PM

Taste: A Book of Small BitesHave you ever tasted a food that triggered a long forgotten memory? Come and join poet and author Jehanne Dubrow for a book reading, Q&A, and book purchase/signing in Onegie Hall, and find out more about this phenomenon and other TASTY TIDBITS influenced by your SENSE OF TASTE!

In her book, Taste :A Book of Small Bites, Ms. Dubrow writes:

"I suspect Hansel and Gretel never touched another piece of candy or slice of cake. The smell of cardamon and cloves took them back, in a flash of fragrant horror, to the gingerbread house in the forest. In winter, they dreaded the trays of lebkuchen displayed in shop windows, those plump cookies filled with jam. They refused even the sweetness of honey. For the rest of their lives, they ate nothing glazed with sugar."

What tastes do you crave or avoid? What memories does your sense of taste influence? Come find out about the mysteries of taste – how it works on us or in us. Please RSVP using this link and join us for an amazing evening!
