We will be open Friday, 3- 6pm.  The online store is up and running as well.  You can pre-order online by Thursday night  and we will have a packed box with your order ready for pickup on Friday afternoon.

We're getting prepped for U Pick Pumpkin Sales and will keep you posted as we get closer.  The dates are set and on our Face Book page if you'd like to keep up that way.  We will do it similar to last year with the first 2 weekends in October being our only dates for in field u pick.  It will start next Friday September 30/ Saturday October 1 and then Friday Oct 7 and 8th.  3-6 p.m on Fridays during the farm stand and 10-4 on Saturdays.

The winter squash harvest has begun!!  Wow, it feels like we wait a long time for the squash and pumpkins to mature but then it's here before you know.  We had a young couple of volunteers (Thomas on right) show up yesterday that sure made a difference...traveling their way around the country stopping at market farms to learn about different regions to help them decide where they would like to settle.  It was a blue bird day and squash were literally jumping in the truck!

Here's the lineup in the greenhouse where they can cure before sale or storage.  The heat helps harden the skin and dry the stems down so the squash store better.  We have all the same as last year but swapped out sugar dumpling for a stellar looking replacement named, Carnival.  You'll get it when you see it up close...a burst of fun autumn colors.  We will have most varieties online and for sale at the farm stand.  And, our first picking of Italian Plums are in.  We'll have more from the last two rows but it's nice to have some fruit on the table.
Some items like tomatoes and zucchini are not listed on the online store due to low availability.  Check the newsletter list for full list.  If we don't have much on-hand we'll only have it available at the farm stand.

See you at the farm...

- Brad
