Recent participant feedback:

I loved taking Araceli's picture books writing class at the ArtLitLab. I was able to learn what ingredients are needed to create a successful picture book. The participants were also given helpful resources to explore after class. I really enjoyed the brain storming sessions which provided me with an additional picture book idea. I highly recommend this class. I left feeling very energized and excited for my picture book journey ahead.” — K. Storlid, Madison class participant, 2022

Join us for our last in-person event of the year!

all blue star background with a woman and a moon telling people about our event on Sat. Nov. 12th

Last but not least: This event was inspired by Yazmin Lopez, she is the owner of a local cleaning company called Katharisma Cleaning. She has been a speaker at our events, and has been instrumental in our outreach and growth. We love rocking the scene with Yazmin!

In this class we will make a money bowl (as seen on IG Reels!) and we will have a financial wellness speaker join us!

We are charging $5 bucks as an incentive to come! We will have food and childcare! If you know of a city worker woman, invite them to come!!! The city has donated their meeting space at the new Fleet building next to Walmart on Madison’s East side.

Event: Saturday, November 12th from 12-2:30 PM Location: 4151 Nakoosa Trail Madison, WI 53714
