Ah, fall…who doesn’t appreciate a little change in the temps? Although these days, the weather can be so wonky - I do hope it IS cooling off a bit wherever you are!

As I write this, I’m just getting back from a travel experience of my own. My husband and I were able to get away on a much-anticipated trip to Iceland. How wonderful was that!?! (And let me tell you, it WAS!)

The trip has been on my bucket list for a long time, and it felt so good to be there! But not only for the accomplishment (who doesn’t like to cross off an item from a to-do lost, amiright?). It also reminded me how important it is for hosts to get out and get away once in a while (although, granted, it doesn’t have to be as extreme as Iceland!). lol

But I have to admit, I couldn’t have done it without the help of my stellar team.

With over 40 properties to manage these days, it takes a whole lotta time and attention to deliver a great guest experience - while also providing top-notch service to my clients.

And that’s where my team comes in!

They not only provide my clients with guest assistance all hours of the day (think: no more getting jolted out of a good night’s sleep when a guest got locked out!), but they enabled me to take this much-needed time away…

(Oh, and if you haven’t gotten the memo yet, they are also the backbone of a new service I’m offering. I’m opening up their skills and talents to you via my Host-assist messaging option!)

Do you have a direct booking site?

Last issue I asked if y’all had any questions about direct booking sites. And I’m still asking, friends!

So what’s your take?
Do you have any questions about setting one up? Do you have any issues with one you’re already using? Curious about best-practices or solutions or challenges, like vetting guests, property insurance and claims, establishing credibility, marketing, processing payments…?

As you see, the list can go on and on!
