“I was at rehearsals yesterday in Dublin and saw a run-through of the show. I am beyond excited. The production is extraordinary and unlike anything I have ever seen before. We are seeing physically disabled bodies on stage for the first time ever in Irish theatre. We are seeing disabled actors playing disabled characters and bringing an authenticity to their performances that highlights the need to end the practice of non-disabled actors playing such parts. We are seeing disabled Actors centre stage. We are seeing disabled characters telling a story that really matters. To see the way they move on stage in a production that is fluid and pacey is genuinely thrilling.
We are breaking ground here.”
No Magic Pill is history in the making and not to be missed.
