Howdy CCA Family:
It is Valerie Hanks, your Parish Life Administrator + Whitefield Center Development Director, get ready for a newsletter that is jam packed with lots of fun information, so happy exploring!

BREAKING NEWS...Bishop Qampicha Wario and his wife Safia of the Marsabbit Diocese in the Anglican Church of Kenya will be visiting CCA this Tuesday and Wednesday.  Bishop Qampicha and Fr. Craig are classmates from seminary!  He is the founder of Tumaini Christian School in northern Kenya that we have been praying for this month and that Rev. Canon John MacDonald shared about when he visited CCA.  We are thrilled to be planning a reception for them on Tuesday evening [9/27] with coffee & dessert.  Stay tuned for details and please plan on attending, if you can! PULSE OF THE PARISH...PLAYGROUND!!

Pulse of the Parish—Swingin' at the CCA PLAYGROUND!!! Happy to report that our playground, at the end of the parking lot is cleaned up & ready for some serious PLAY! Weather permitting, let's enjoy it together! You can find me [Valerie Hanks] or any CCA STAFF MEMBER after church to unlock the fence & we can work together to make sure all kids [young and old]  are safely monitored & away from traffic while playing!!!

Three Choirs Festival...Get your tickets NOW:                                                     
On Sunday, October 16th The Friends of Cathedral Music will host the choirs of Wesley Monumental United Methodist and Christ Church Anglican as they join with the Cathedral choir, brass and organ for a spectacular night of music making featuring over 120 voices at The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. The Cornerstone Award recognizes a non-profit company whose mission directly supports Savannah’s business community. New Wineskins: 2022 Missions Conference = NOW [!!!]
September 22-25, Ridgecrest Conference Center, NC. 
Did you know that close to THIRTY folks from CCA will be in the mountains/or are perhaps about to arrive when you read this newsletter? A wide range of babies, toddlers, kids, pre-teens, teens, young-ish adults, adults and seasoned adults are attending! YIPPIE! Please pray for safe travel for us & for all of the conference participants from all over the world! Our very own Jason Mehl & Kristy Crill will be presenting at the conference, how amazing is that? I will do my best to take/gather lots of photos & will be eager to share them with you next week in our fun little newsletter! Don't forget, you can also stream some of the conference programming for FREE via Live Stream using this link!
