Our Mission & Purpose: As followers of Jesus Christ, in obedience to the Word, we covenant to be a nurturing community that challenges and equips one another to know Christ, grow in Christ, and go with Christ.
September 23, 2022
Things we can pray for this week:

Listen to my prayer, O God.
Pay attention to my plea.
Psalms 54:2 NLT
New Joys and Concerns:
  • Brian Ball has come down with a case of shingles, and as a farmer working outdoors in extreme weather, this complicates his recovery.
  • Tami Hosman suffered a fall down a flight of stairs. She is anticipating many Dr. appointments and surgery to repair a torn ACL and to replace a knee.
  • Paul Bingle is stronger and walking better, but has a new wound that needs care. Carol Bingle's arms continue to be an extremely painful problem. She has a CAT Scan scheduled, and is on 'arm rest'. Also, congratulations to Brianna Bingle on her 18th birthday!
  • Duane Johnson is sick, pray for a quick recovery.
**Email the church office to share your joys and concerns with your church family, we would love to pray for and celebrate with you! And/or text Pastor Melissa at 620-278-6435.
Updates:
  • Georgia Vogts's mother has been moved to a rehab center in the town she lives in, which makes it much easier for the family to care for her. [Georgia Vogt's parents, her mother has been struggling with illness and has been in and out of the hospital. Doctors have figured out some of what is going on, but are still investigating how to fix it. Pray also for Georgia's sisters Jane and Jean.]
**We encourage periodic updates. If we have not had an update in six weeks, we will remove names from the prayer list. If you would like to add a name back to the list, please let us know.
Continuing Prayers:

  • Bob Krabbe, Rob's dad, is in ICU. A new heart med is causing additional trouble. He had recently fallen, fracturing his shoulder and neck, and had been admitted to the hospital for continuing care.
  • Georgia Vogt's Uncle and Aunt, Kenny & Arlene Landis, Kenny had surgery last week, and Arlene, who has had multiple strokes herself, may not be able to be with him. (9/11)
  • Paul & Carol Bingle's nephew, Chris Ford, fighting non-Hodgkins lymphoma, is getting ready for another round of chemo treatments. Pray that his platelet levels are ok. Previously, his blood count has been too low for him to receive treatment.
  • Carol Bingle needs prayer for her arms. Both arms are extremely painful. She is still doing physical therapy for her one arm and may need to see an orthopedic doctor for a prescription for her other arm. Pray the doctors and therapists would be able to help her find relief and functionality. As Carol is in a wheelchair, she desperately needs her arms to work so that she can care for Paul and herself.
  • Glen Goodman's father, Tom Goodman passed away on Friday, September 9, continued prayers for his family.
  • Nikki Coester is still dealing with severe headaches, prayers for relief. Also, she is in need of an aide, if you know of anyone who may be interested in this paid position, please contact the church office or Nikki directly.
  • For the Frederick family. Clyda died Monday night (9/5). (Obituary)

  • Julie is home but is still suffering from mental impairment due to ICU psychosis. Continue to pray that her cognitive function would improve. [Kim Christian's best friend's mother]
